I suspect Robert Mueller is a lot smarter man than Donald Trump. I suspect Robert Mueller has thought about the possibility of being fired by Donald Trump quite a bit and talked about it with his ādream teamā
of crack federal prosecutors.
I believe there now are indictments that are on file in federal court under seal. Iām confident that there is a very unpleasant surprise awaiting Donald Trump if he fires Robert Mueller. Some of those indictments, I suspect, will be unsealed and served. Jared Kushner, Donald Trump jr., Carter page, Roger Stone and others all may have a very bad day. I also suspect that Mr. Mueller has a draft report to Congress on impeachment that is ready to go, and has been updated regularly.

Actually an IG investigation into the FBIās actions would keep Trump from firing Rosenstein and/or Mueller until the findings were in, thus buying Mueller valuable time. And most unbiased observers donāt believe that Mueller and his team are doing anything that they shouldnāt be given their orders from Rosenstein.

Yeah, thatās kind of the big tell regarding Flake. He could start caucusing with the Democrats if he really did want to stop Trump. But he doesnāt. Because he is still looking at running office down the road.
Remember, Flake is no moderate. He came to office as a fire breathing tea partier. Its just that the TP from those years actually looks moderate through Trumper glasses.

Hell, he wouldnāt have to caucus with the Dems to oppose Trump. He could still vote for the stupid tax bill, while voting against Trumpās insane appointments and for protecting Mueller from being fired. But he never does, on any single thing.

If you can - click for the embedded video - two things - Gowdy tells Chris Wallace that the Executive Branch investigation is more thorough and should be what people believe over the House Intel (heās referring to Mueller).
He also alludes to motivations - like someone wanting to run for Senate in California who has never met a camera he doesnāt try to get on (or something like that.) Is he refering to Nunes, Schiff or someone else?

I think youāre being a tad unrealistic here, but I would agree that Mueller has given huge thought to and is thoroughly prepared for Trump trying to fire him. I say trying because I do think it will take the lid off Pandoraās Box.
