While I agree that we shouldn’t hatchet our counts before they chicken,

Cruz is reportedly personally reaching out to big donors

I’m amazed that the big donors haven’t been reaching out to him. Maybe they are taking their cues from the Kock Bros.

Run Beto, run!

There’s a Nixon/Kennedy dynamic here, too, Beto’s a handsome young baritone with the ability to speak in cogent paragraphs, and Ted’s a sweaty, whiney falsetto with a clumsy pseudo-intellectual vocabulary.

Green eggs and ham won’t cut it in a debate with a common-sense communicator like O’Rourke.

Cruz may wisely (in his cowardly slinky-weasel fashion) choose not to get on that stage. And that will only help Beto beat him at the ballot box. Either way, Cruz is at a disadvantage.

Ditto in my neighborhood … NW San Antonio. My friend over on the northside … in a normally deep red neighborhood … tells me that she sees Beto signs all over the place!!

btw, the use of the name “Teddy” is well-calculated, if it offends anyone who doesn’t “get it”, you need to get it.

He got burned with that “NY value” comment in 2016, and is doing it again. Maybe the dude ain’t very smart.

Beto is running ads and not just on MSNBC.

I’m all for ending Citizens United forever, but for now, some of the Democratic supporting PACs need to go after Cruz and jump on him like a trampoline.

Back-to-back video clips of Cruz self-righteously condemning Trump and then kissing his orange ass, back to back videos of Trump ridiculing Ted’s wife and then praising Cruz, just wash, rinse and repeat.

Let Beto do positive, uplifting and endearing commercials touting his Texas bona-fides, but the PACs have so much fodder for feeding the “Cruz is an abject Trumpsucking hypocrite” theme, this one should be a no-brainer.

I would think that an “unaffiliated” PAC could pull up the tapes that have Trump bashing Rafael and run them in the same time slots the support from Trump ads run might create a bit of cognitive dissonance…

No sandyh, most support for both Republicans and Democrats alike come from the US oligarchy, and not from “Cuba, Canada and Russia.” So you heard wrong.
By the way, legal bribe money is all dark money, regardless of its source.

Screw blue and the GOP too.
Vote only for progressives of any party who vow not to take any legal bribes.

The question is whether there are enough sentient Texas voters to give Beto O’Rourke the win. Mouth breathers, religious fanatics, and racists/nativists are a large part, of not the majority, of the Texas electorate.

Beto’s excellent campaign will reveal the answer. Is Texas salvageable?

Lying Ted is in big trouble. The son of a Lee Harvey Oswald conspirator in the Kennedy assassination, and the husband of the unappealing looking Heidi - both according to Trump during the Republican primaries,is trying desperately to appeal to voters who see him for what he is- an ineffective ,self serving blowhard and Trump’s pet lap dog.Now the Republicans are trying to use dark money to save his ass, to keep Raphael" Calgary " Cruz afloat…But dark money can’t conceal his true character ,or lack thereof. It looks like Teddy or Calgary, may have to return to his roots and run for office in Canada.Perhaps,Trump can use him as a bargaining chip in our trade negotiations with his country of birth.

Once you are being mocked as Cruz is, it is a lost cause. Plus he appears weak and that seems unTexan. Plus he is unlikeable and Texas is figuring out they can do better.

Please cap off this good news with Collins and Murkowski voting no. I know. I know.

As a Texan, I think you’re wrong. It’s a voter suppression issue.
