“He’s an asshole, but he’s our asshole…”

Goopers have this tattoed on their butts.

Why not back him? He’s no worse than Trump, and the GOP has already gone there.

Roy Moore is not a GOP outlier now. The GOP, as a whole, has become more like Roy Moore.

Republicans have failed Alabama since the 60s. Evidently, it will continue to do so.

Ol’ Roy (or is it Ray?) has that rare combination of aromatic old man ball sweat and toxic bigotry Republicans can’t ignore.

It’s no longer just Party Over Country for Republicans - it’s party over sanity, decency, intelligence, policy, process, rules, norms, humanity, conscience, self-respect, …

Neil Young needs to write some more verses for his Alabama song…

Let’s not ignore the fact that Alabama voted FOR him. There’s something scary happening in this country. Someone like Roy Moore should be rejected completely. Personally, when I hear him speak it’s downright scary.

There’s been a lot of talk about making Puerto Rico the 51st state. I disagree.
I say we make Puerto Rico the 50th state after we demote Alabama to a territory.

If I were Doug Jones, the Democratic nominee, my campaign slogan might be, “Don’t prove Cousin Vinny right!”

As I’ve always said, Republican’ts, and especially Evangelical “Christian” Republican’ts, would vote for Satan himself if he ran with an R after his name. Fortunately Dick Cheney isn’t running this election…

It’s almost as if Republican voters are saying, “Fuck it, let’s see what happens when the inmates run the asylum.” And Republican politicians are OK with that as long as it results in votes for bills that hurt the very people who keep putting them in office.

Roy is that false prophet that the bible warns about. People listen to him because he simplifies a changing world to two choices or sides. Truth is not black or white; up or down; on or off; and the world has complex problems that simplistic thinking will not solve complex issues. So good for you fiscally conservative Alabamians you want to elect some one to high office with a high salary, but lucky for us not high power. To dilute his crazy the press needs to stay away from him, the more attention you give him the more influence you give his views. I wish that they had learned this lesson back in 2015 for a certain someone we all have to endure.

If Moral Moore is such a fan of the “Big Ten” and thinks it should be the law of the land, how does he explain his backing of Trump?

He’s not a liberal, that’s all

I share that frustration and believe that enacting the agenda the American people voted for last November requires us all to work together.

Mitch, you really need to learn the difference between “the American people” and the electoral college. The American people rejected your agenda last fall by almost three million votes. The electoral college is a cut-out between the American people and the presidency. However, the purpose of this cut-out as it was originally intended has been negated by the states who have taken the free will of the electors away from them. The electors are no longer “older and wiser heads” who will choose the best candidate for president, but party hacks who are required, in most states under penalty of law, to follow party dictates.

Saying that “the American people” voted for your agenda is a flat-out lie.
