“Unfortunately I think Donald Trump’s over reaction is as dangerous as Obama’s under reaction,” says Fiorina on Trump’s Muslim statement.

That debate in eight days should be rather smashing…

I fully expect this to increase his standing among the Republican electorate.

Will people want to do business with Trump once he returns to the business sector?

And the other GOP characters are just unhappy that they didn’t think to say it first.

Whomever Donald’s publicist and speech writers are, pretty much win the Internet in this election cycle so far. Their jobs are to get him upfront and in the public eye. They haven’t failed at their jobs yet. But they’re running out of extremes to take. That could bode differently in a few more months.

Certain relief for the other GOP candidates because they were not the first ones to say what Trump said. You know they thought about it.

America is a country that likely has more neuroses than there are aspirin in a pill box.

Donald Trump says something crazy, and the other candidates react. Over and over and over again. I can set my watch to this pattern.

If the other candidates think they’re going to win by introducing ridiculous ideas that are just half as crazy as Trump’s, well then, they’re probably twice as crazy as Trump.

Establishment GOPers criticizing Trump for saying what the Teatrolls want to hear will only make him more popular with them.

Cruz says, “It’s not my policy.” Which (by design) of course can mean anything.

Said the moderately crazies to the seriously crazy. They are all pandering to the same crowd, so not one of them is qualified to lead the vast majority of Americans…not one.

just reiterating for the 3rd or 4th time… if you ban immigrants from the Middle East and Jesus decides to actually come back he won’t be allowed in either…

How are the other GOPers going to deal with his maximalism? He sure has smoked out the weaklings.

Deport them all. Bomb the shit out of them. Keep them all out of the country. What’s there to think about? Nuance and thought are the enemy! That’s how you keep the spotlight.

Man, I can’t wait for him to light into Cruz.

So those Republicans with moribund campaigns gainsay Trump. What do Rubio and Cruz do? I’m sure Rubio will waffle, but does Cruz double-down on the crazy?
