Despicable and gratuitous. President Carter left office 34 years ago, and these buffoons feel entitled to openly criticize and demean a now 90-year old, gravely ill great humanitarian and Christian for their short-term gratification. Neither Christie nor Cruz could hold a candle to Carterās good character. Shameful!

I get so pissed off when I hear someone say that Jimmy Carter lost the 1980 presidential election to Ronald Reagan because of the economy. Bullshit. Jimmy Carter lost the election because every evening on "Nightline", Ted Koppel would look at the camera and basically say, "Day 125 of the American hostages being held in Iran!!!!" If Carter's attempted rescue of the hostages from Iran had been successful, Reagan would have been just some doddering old Hollywood has-been walking along the California beaches with his skinny-ass wife, whom he called "Mommy".
