You know something, it doesn’t matter. Brown was unarmed and did NOT deserve to be gunned down in the streets by a cop who, according to eyewitnesses and audio evidence, didn’t even have a real reason to pull his gun or fire the way he did.

You are so right. Foley and Sotloff were journalists (and their death has made me very sensitive to that title) - the rest are, at best, talking heads. Charles C. Johnson doesn’t even come close to that standard.

I imagine the Charles C. Johnson was tormented mercilessly by his older brothers. He’s got that needy, over-eager thing going on that older brothers use toward evil ends.
He’s so desperate to belong, to be taken seriously by his elders, that he’s falling prey to people who use him to spread harmful nonsense. He’s oblivious to his shortcomings and has no idea he’s stooge people laugh at.

I’d like to see Mr. Johnson and the Ferguson PD investigated to see exactly how it was “confirmed” that Michael Brown had a juvenile arrest record involving second degree murder.
Of course if we were to hold these people accountable for their nasty campaign of leaks and smears, then we’d have to listen to the usual suspects whine about an unprecedented “War on Journalism,” so probably just best to let this internet troll continue to work alongside anonymous sources to promote disgusting propaganda.

What difference does it make? What does it matter if he happened to have had a long record? As far as I know he wasn’t wearing a shirt listing his convictions or crimes. Even if he had a long list of convictions, the officer would have no way of knowing. This is all completely irrelevant and a naked attempt to smear Brown.
