Discussion: Reports: Megyn Kelly Accuses Roger Ailes Of Sexual Harassment In New Book

These extremist right-wing nut jobs like Ailes are such fine, honorable, upstanding, and moral creatures . . .for pigs!

If this is true, I have even less respect for her than I did before.
When Gretchen first came out w/ her accusations, I don’t recall Kelly saying anything. She was mum.
But she did for money her book?

I wonder if Ailes had not been let go, would she have had the courage to continue with book release?

…including trapping her in his office for a “cat and mouse game.”

I cannot imagine what it must be like to be a woman, but thanks to this election cycle, I am beginning to understand.

edit- OT, but do not be surprised if Hillary wins Alaska’s 3 EV. We have the highest percent of Native American voters in the nation, and for the first time ever the Alaska Federation of Natives endorsed a presidential candidate- H, and a recent poll had Hillary up 47-43%.

So for 9 years Ms. Kelly kept silent about her direct experience with sexual harrassment in the workplace. NINE YEARS.

Maybe the media should phrase it as “Megyn Kelly Accuses TOP TRUMP TRUMP ADVISOR Roger Ailes of Sexual Harassment”.

Oh, wait, we don’t want to influence the election. Start phrasing it that way after the election is over with.

trumpdog, your post, though I’m sure well-intentioned, is victim-blaming.

Also, Kelly wasn’t mum when Fox’s lawyers interviewed her re Carlson.

Your point being?

Well, she was definitely a victim when she was the target.

When other women were attacked she was more of an accessory. Kind of a pattern with the Fox Bleach Squad, really.

He’d put her paycheck between his moobs and tell her to, “Cash it!”

Good point.

She probably just didn’t get around to it, given how busy she was fighting liberal political correctness.

Wow - this from a TPM follower? I’m disappointed in your lack of sensitivity to sexual harassment. Every woman I know (including me) has experienced some degree of harassment. Mostly we sucked it up, fended it off and privately fumed. Few women can afford the steep economic and professional price of reporting it. Fortunately, the workplace is remarkably improved since I began my career 40 years ago. There is hope and support for women that we didn’t used to have. Don’t be so judgmental of Kelley. She isn’t my cup of political tea, but she deserves respect and she’s a survivor.

She worked for someone who sexually harrassed her while at the same time gleefully reporting incessantly on issues of sexual misconduct that almost exclusively involved Democrats/Liberals. I have the utmost sympathy for women who, every day, have to endure some form of workplace harrassment, but Ms Kelly is no typical office worker. She was (and still is to some extent) the face of Foxnews. It’s beyond hypocrisy.

Moobs----Every day I learn a new word!

Well, of course. I mean, really?

She’s a lawyer, too.

Fat pig must have known about this, because he’s MIA.

“Roger began pushing the limits,” she wrote, as quoted by Radar. “There was a pattern to his behavior. I would be called into Roger’s office, he would shut the door, and over the next hour or two, he would engage in a kind of cat-and-mouse game with me — veering between obviously inappropriate sexually charged comments (e.g. about the ‘very sexy bras’ I must have and how he’d like to see me in them) and legitimate professional advice.”

“You know, legitimate ratings-boosting professional advice like ‘You’ve got to show more leg and cleavage to our viewers.’”
