Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) is expected to suspend his bid for the GOP presidential nomination on Wednesday afternoon, according to reports from NBC and Ohio TV station WKYC.
This seems like a super hasty decision. He was tweeting about how he was the only hope for saving the party this morning. If I had to guess the people he was going to raise money from in VA said “no,” because he is pretty much out of money at this point.
John McCain, of course!!!
Unless, this is ANOTHER announcement that he’s staying in the race…

5:00 – Kasich names Carly Fiorina as his running mate.
5:15 – Kasich suspends his campaign.
