Now there’s commitment for ya…

Does this mean he’ll resign from the House itself early too?

Hope he’s paid off his mortgage…Shame to be in the unemployment line when he’s been so hostile to those in the unemployment line. Chances are his wife has a good job…so no worries right? Maybe he can go back and work for his daddy selling real estate. I thought I read that somewhere.

Wonder if he’s entitled to gov’t pension.

Gohmert would make a fine replacement.
He’s tea-baggy enough, no?

Mitch McConnell losing will be a stunning upset too.

Thank goodness he won’t be accepting any of that free communist federal healthcare for Congressional ā€˜retirees.’ Good luck on the open market, Eric.

Let’s just see how much he tries to live off the gov’t dole now that he’s leaving his government job. Hypocrisy, such as that on display by these GoOPers, knows no bounds.

Five bucks says he goes to work for some firm that he took money from as a congressman.

Good luck. I am sure that the corporate kleptocrats who paid your campaign for hundreds of thousands of dollars in steak house dinners will be happy to find you a high paying, no-work job for you (your wife and your family) that makes good use of the incompetence, ineptitude, ignorance and arrogance that you so ably exemplified in the do-nothing congress.

Not sure exactly how they determine this, but I’m guessing he will end up being replaced by my (former) worthless congresscritter: Adam Kinzinger - IL. For whatever reason, they (the GOP) have been propping him up on those Sunday Morning wingnutfests (Felate The Press, Face The Baggers, etc.), almost making me think they suspected something like this might be coming. He’s one of those ā€œYoung Gunsā€ that hasn’t been ā€œshot downā€ like Cantor. Comes across as reasonable, but forget it: he’s a bought and paid for teabagger…

AIPAC. They’ve already got him an office.

Truthfully, this might be jockeying for the speaker’s spot in the next term, assuming the talk about Boehner stepping down after the midterms are accurate. I think Boehner is doomed as speaker regardless, so whoever replaces Cantor today, might be replacing Boehner tomorrow. My guess is McCarthy is the one that gets it.

Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn’t you?
People’d call, say, ā€œBeware doll, you’re bound to fallā€
You thought they were all kiddin’ you
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin’ out
Now you don’t talk so loud
Now you don’t seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be without a home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

Poor widdle Eric…he pumped up the teabaggers and then they turned on him. It’s such fun watching the teahadists revolt against their own…and now they have a Dominionist teabagger ! You can’t make this crap up

Another quitter.
