That’s possible, but under that scenario, then why does Trump Jr. skate without an indictment? He’s not protected the same way. It suggests to me that there wasn’t enough solid evidence to indict either of them, or Assange for that matter. Which would be disappointing if true. But yeah, let’s see the report first.

You’re right on that point, of course. But he never interviewed Don Jr. He did, on the other hand, get those written responses from Trump.
But his trial is Nov. 5. I don’t know how the timelines usually go but that’s a lot of before.
