Discussion: Report: Trump Transition Team Sworn To Secrecy By Non-Disclosure Agreements

If the people are paying for the transition, it doesn’t seem like this would be enforceable. And the work product subject to FOIA, no?

We are about to have the most secretive Presidency every. Only fake Russia news stories will be coming out of Trump’s White House.

forbade them from even criticizing Trump in public.

Maybe this would is a work around. “I would like to lift-up and highlight the recent actions of the President, which many have called “asinine,” and “completely inappropriate”. I, myself, am amazed by his actions. President Trump is truely a man completely unencumbered by intellect, maturity, taste, or legal understanding.”

I don’t think this will be enforceable considering many of these folks are considered government employees. They are bound, first and foremost, by government rules of engagement, proper record keeping, etc., for us, the people, to have access to. Deal with it, Donnie.

Looks like having to fire little Flynn Jr. pissed somebody off.

“I guess he doesn’t know about the First Amendment,” David Perry, an employment lawyer in New York City, told The Daily Dot, who first reported the existence of the contract in March. “This is really shocking.”

Ya think?
tRump not only doesn’t know about the First Amendment he doesn’t care to learn about it. FOIA all the actions of these assholes.

It also requires anyone with knowledge of anyone else leaking information to report their co-workers to higher-ups.

There is a kind of Stasi thing goin’ on with the Trumpsters. How '70s.

Yes. At least we’ve been saved from that horror. All those who voted, or refused to vote, on the theory that she was worse, or at least no better, may sleep soundly at night.

I’m shocked…shocked!

Donald “the draft dodging coward” Trump wants to make sure that none of the wheeling and dealing or financial benefits of his transition or Presidency ever become public knowledge.

You can now kiss your ass and Constitution goodbye.

Abbott dismisses those criticisms, saying that he would call for a limited scope to the convention.

Hey-ey-ey Abbott:

Forgotten your history, haven’t you? The Constitutional Convention was called with limited scope, too. It was supposed to fix the Articles of Confederation.

Once you call a convention to amend the Constitution, Governor Asshole Abbott they may amend the document as they see fit. The process of amendment may include total replacement. If a majority of delegates take a mind to something, it can’t be stopped.

It’s then up to us to ratify the product (or not).

I swear to God, these people are idiots.

P.S. If you succeed in this quixotic endeavor, I’ll run for public office for the first (and only) time in my life: I want to be a delegate to the convention.

Begin?!?
The FBI started monitoring poets and artists in the 30s, an action that intensified through a new agency, compromised corporate and foundation boards, branched into reporters and writers of all races and grew more secretive after WWII.
While the arts, angry comics, poets, writers, musicians all still exist today, few if any have access to the power of a mass audience equivalent to even a 1930s level.
