“Will you pledge loyalty to me?”…

Of course he did. Muslim-Americans, Mexican-Americans, basically all people of color … and women … need not apply.

This is from yesterday.

And some moments ago. Thread.

Trump knows how dirty he is. He knows the crimes he, his family, business partners and some of his more high profile supporters have committed. Trump may be suffering from mental illness, but he’s more than aware of what he’s gotten away with, how, with who, and who can put him, his family and people he knows in jail.

This is more obstruction and abuse of power.

“The Southern District of New York has jurisdiction over an area that includes Trump Tower.”

So…Trump’s gonna pick Yury Chaika?

However you feel about her, DiFi gets this thing right (her statement embedded in the tweet).

Open and brazen corruption by Trump because why not? What Republican has shown the spine to defend our Constitution and our values?

Mueller can’t do everything. This isn’t the movies where “one man” saves the world from impending disaster. Time for folks to do their damn jobs.

Her entire statement. She is right and we now know his intent. He wants any and all investigations of his businesses scuttled.“U.S. Attorneys must be loyal to the Constitution not the President.”

They will go down in infamy … one of these days. Vichy indeed.

This maybe one of the most important stories of the day. Instead we were treated to John Kelly throwing insults at a member of Congress.

No doubt he was talking to them about “adoptions”…in case anyone was wondering.

In this case it is not a good idea for trump to interview candidates for that particular post since they will be called upon to potentially prosecute trump as Preet Bharara was doing when trump fired him. Dollars to dough nuts he asked for pledges of personal loyalty.

Ed McNally from law firm Kasowitz Benson Torres for a position in the Eastern District.

Why does that name sound so familiar? Is it because it’s usually attached to Marc Kasowitz who is moron’s lawyer who threatened a stranger in an email much like moron attacks strangers in tweets?

For me it’s the kind of story where if you want clarification you go to either Hayes, Maddow or O’Donnell.

Ask every nominee if they took a loyalty oath.
Reject anyone who doesn’t answer with an unqualified “no”.
Denounce Republican senators who carry Trump’s water.

Not even a bit subtle.
