You got that right. Priorities, people, priorities!
I told my kids when they were teens that I am a fucking genius. They still donât believe me but give them time.
Amazon should sell these. Iâd give them as Christmas presents.
Tillerson should issue a statement that goes something like:
âSuffice it to say that my words were taken out of context. The President and I talk a lot and I am sure that the President has noticed by now that whenever I am talking to or about him that I strive to use single syllable words so as to make sure he understands. This word does not follow those rules. There is another explanation.â
Aw, did the widdle moron have a hissy fit?
People keep quoting this, but it ignores that âthe mob,â i.e. the people, wanted Hillary Clinton. It was the Electoral College born in part out of this sort of elitist distrust of âthe mobâ that gave us this moron.
âThe mobâ were those voters in enough states to tip the electoral college vote.
Even if that is how you want to define âthe mobâ they are a minority empowered by the anti-democratic Electoral College and in no way representitive of the âinner soul of the peopleâ or of a âperfectingâ of democracy, so the quote still doesnât work.
Electoral College was in existence when Mencken was writing. In fact, Senators were only being elected by direct vote for 2-3 years at that point.
Rex called a spade a spadeâŚkindlyâŚUnlike World leaders who see him as disgusting demented trashâŚHats off to Rex. The only qualified candidate in the whole drumpf incompetent admin.
So what? That doesnât change the fact that the last election was in no-way a âperfectingâ of democracy. It merely highlights that the quote is and always has been elitist anti-democratic claptrap that illustrates a fundemental hostility to the very concept of democratic goverment and rule by the consent of the governed. The simple truth is that contrary to that quote if our system was more âperfectlyâ democratic, more representitive of the will of the people, Hillary would be President not the current moron.
Are they really repeating the actual word, âmoronâ?
That is precious.
Tillerson denies resignation rumours, but not âmoronâ remark
Tillerson denies resignation rumours, but not 'moron' remark
Article is more about how the next thing Donald will probably ruin is the federal reserve with his pick of that head.
But interesting in the first paragraph he points out that Tillerson has helped demoralized the state department.
âA gaffe is when a politician tells the truth - some obvious truth he isnât supposed to say.ââMichael Kinsley
Thanks for posting the leading paragraph, rarely seen.
