Discussion: Report: Trump Has Donated Rounds Of Golf To Charity, Not Money

Quelle surprise? And here we thought the #1 reason he didn’t want to release any tax returns was his vast overstatement of his wealth!

What an oily weasel. As low as he is, this does surprise me for one reason: acting as a charity or holding out any organization as a charity, accepting donations and not forwarding them is serious business that the local state authorities look into. If he’s run this past his many lawyers, perhaps he’s legally safe from any prosecution.

But in the court of public opinion, this will backfire badly IMO and one can bet some will file lawsuits against Trump for at least deception. It’ll be fun to see him try and squirm out of this one!

But only the best rounds of golf. Really, really great rounds of golf with the finest people. Unbelievably great people and great rounds of golf.

I hope folks are starting to catch on that this guy has no actual substance and that it’s all show.

Time for those charities to start handing out golf games to every Mexican, Muslim and woman they can find!

So, this “good Christian” doesn’t tithe? He doesn’t give 10% of his income to a church, and church, as outlined in the bible? Or maybe his staff of lackies didn’t get to that part when briefing him - I don’t think it’s in Two Corinthians…

He’s nothing but a lying, pig-eyed sack of shit - but that comes as no surprise to anyone who can see beyond the faux gold facade.

“We want to keep them quiet,” Weisselberg said. “He doesn’t want other charities to see it. Then it becomes like a feeding frenzy.”

Donald Trump wants to keep something he's doing quiet. Donald Trump dislikes a feeding frenzy in the press over something charitable he's involved with.

Um, yeah.......

In the value system of the Republican elite, it’s better for them if charities think they have a chance, rather than know they don’t.

Conservatives call it competition, which benefits and also amuses them.

And of course, these charities would otherwise be unaware that Trump has a lot of money. If they don’t know about his donations, they won’t even approach him. Right.

Trump is a master of deceitful press releases, speeches and tweets. He truly represents the triumph of “marketing” over reality. Give me a break; why can so many people not see the the Emperor is naked? Bring it on, Trump, Cruz or whoever the GOP nominates will lose in November. The alternative is too scary to contemplate.

IOW, Trump can’t sell the tee-times at his courses/resorts, so he “donates” the expiring, perishing, damaged goods. Should be valued at ZERO.

So you mean that all those donations his contestants work for on the Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice get donated in tRump’s name?? Color me shocked and surprised. The guy is proving to douche than I could have imagined.

But it sounds so good (inside his own head).

Because every charity could use a round of golf. Not.

Gail Collins famously, and to Trump’s extreme consternation, referred to The Donald as a “financially embattled thousandaire” in a 2011 column.

Everything she wrote then rings just as true today. Laid bare I think Trump’s wealth would likely be 10th what he boasts. It’s a house of cards. His name plastered all over a great deal of stuff he doesn’t own. If his licensing and promotional agreements dried up he’d go broke trying to service his debts and keep hold of his personal assets. As they say in Texas, all hat and no cattle.

Speaking of which, I notice the MSM has just once again shrugged its shoulders and taken “no” for an answer on his refusal to release his tax returns.

So Trump;'s claims that he is financing his own campaign come right out of the pockets of charities that help kids dying of cancer and those suffering from floods and tornadoes? Sounds just like you would expect the Right Wing Top 1% to do.

No, no, no - this will help him. If he’s so stingy with his own money, then he’ll be just as stingy with our tax dollars. Hasn’t he said we give away too much money and he’ll put a stop to that. Well, now we know how good he is at keeping $$$ home.
