White people cannot be trusted when it comes to voting! Heā€™s probably voting ten, fifteen times all over Florida!

Bannonā€”to mix metaphors: anyone want to bet whether this is just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to skeletons in his closet? He has barely even begun as campaign chief and already we have domestic abuse and voter fraud. Looking forward to what comes out next. How about tax evasionā€“I wonder whether he lists his Florida residence (no income tax) as his primary residence on his tax forms too.

I donā€™t doubt you are right. But the public does not care about a 20 year-old charge. Only those of us with an axe to grind (and Iā€™m one of them) pay attention. And the campaign has to be about the people who donā€™t care about 20 year-old charges like this.

The Guardian article is worth reading. Basically, it sounds like Bannonā€™s voter fraud was more or less intended to facilitate tax fraud against California, where he really lives. Florida does not have an income tax, so declaring residency in Florida can be one way of trying to avoid income tax in another state, and changing your voter registration helps to solidify the argument that you actually are a resident of Florida. Fraud, fraud, and more fraud. Now I understand why Trump likes Bannon.

Very fishy. Sounds like there is something suspicious going on here.

The reason GOPers constantly scream ā€œvoter fraudā€ is because they are the ones commiting them. Pure diversion tactics. As my mother used to say:ā€œwhen you point a finger at someone, you are pointing three Ingres at yourself.ā€
GOPers are all cheaters and liars.

I immediate thought of this too ā€“ and as for Trump scamming income tax also, I got this email from Democrats.org today:

ā€œDonald Trump found out there was an agricultural deduction for farmers in New Jersey, so he decided to take advantage of it and keeps goats on his golf courses there to get out of paying income tax on those properties.ā€

As we say in Spanish, in principle you are right. However, it has been a topic of interest of mine, perhaps even an obsessive interest of mine, the hypocrisy of the Grand Old Party post Reagan on matters of intra-marital and extra marital incidents. Ronald Reagan violates the Constitution and privatizes our Foreign Policy and says The Buck Stops at Ollie Northā€™s Desk, and the GOP whines about Watergate and Nixon and how we cannot destroy yet another presidency. Then, not long after, conducts an impeachment of WJC because of adultery. With a House Committee full of documented adulterers like Henry Hyde (A Knight of the Catholic Church, mind you) and Dan Burton (same as WJC, with an intern). And Anthony Weiner is run out of office by Andrew Breitbart, who was appearing on Opie & Anthony bragging how he illegally hacked someoneā€™s Twitter account. But Mark Sanford stays, serves out his term and then runs for Congress. David Vitter stays on, is re-elected and runs for Governor. Scott DesJarlais stays on and is re-elected in his Red State Family Values District. Bannonā€™s Breitbart has bandied the WJC rape enabled by Hillary fiction. So in my obsessive thinking, all of this stuff has become relevant. If Tim Kaine had a domestic violence call from his residence, could he even be on the ticket? Even if his wife said, no you know, we both lost our tempers? I think we both know how that would play in the Media. Same if a senior Clinton campaign aide had a 20 year old charge. But in principle you are right. However, I have come toI believe in allowing my side a James Carville to deal with all the wannabe Lee Atwaters on the other side.

By the way, you bear a striking resemblance to Oliver Wendell Holmes.

Bannon is the boss of a white Supremacist website. So he is entitled to vote many times. Otherwise he would not be ā€œsupreme.ā€ Thatā€™s just common sense.

I bet this has less to do with voter registration and more to do with income taxes, since FL has no state income tax, and California, as we all know, is a socialist paradise where the takers tax the makers to pay for roads and stuff.

So is this an example of voter fraud we are always hearing aboutā€¦guess it is a-ok if you are an alt-left hypocriteā€¦

Donā€™t worry! IOKIYAR!

Nothing will happen to him, and NO ONE will look into it, rest assured.

My first thought too - tax evasion.

Also want to add - seems like this is more a case of registration fraud (illegally registering to vote) than election fraud (illegally voting). Of course both could be in play hereā€¦
