Jeezuz H. Kreist. Presidential detail no less!!! You mean this guy doesn’t know to leave his stuff in his car/
Fox: ISIS has finally invaded the USofA. Just ahead of Inauguration of Trump’s presidency. Thanks Obama.
Leaving these items in a, guessing, soft top Miata parked on the street next to your office doesn’t seem very secure. The SS doesn’t offer secure parking to employees?
The Romans had this problem with the Praetorian Guard, as I recall.
This shit has GOT to be on purpose at this point.
A Secret Service agent’s gun, badge and flash drive were stolen
Monday afternoon after a man broke into his parked car near the agency’s
Washington, D.C. headquarters, CNN reported.
The agent, who was unnamed in the police report that CNN cited, also
had his handcuffs and radio stolen. An anonymous source told CNN that
the agent works in the Presidential Protective Division.
…
But they didn’t get his wallet and credit cards as well??
Fucking amateurs.
edit
If I were Obama I’d be sand bagging and placing armor in the residence and acquiring some arms of my own. It’s obvious the Secret Service is too inept to offer any protection.
keepin their zippers up?
Is it just me or do there seem to be a lot more stories about incompetence in the SS since Obama’s been president than anyone previously?
You are right, but it could be that the Secret Service is less good than it used to be.
There have been breaches of WH security in the past but nothing ever on the scale we are seeing now.
edit
One guy went in past an agent and was collared in the East room. He went right past the stairs to the residence unhindered.
There needs to be a revamp top to bottom of the SS and the sooner the better. Anyone working there now on the protection detail needs to be gone sooner rather than later.
From the Broadway play, Mr. President, “The Secret Services Makes Me Nervous”
I put the problems of the Secret Service down to the creation of the octopus known as Homeland Security, although that was not the start. Used to be that the Treasury had an examination for law enforcement applicants. The tiny top slice became Secret Service Agents. The next group became IRS Special Agents, now known as Criminal Investigators. Then came ATF agents, and Customs inspectors. The Secret Service really was elite; I dealt with a few of them. I dealt more with IRS Special Agents, and they, too, were absolutely top of the line. Then, with Reagan, started the hollowing out of the federal bureaucracy, finished off by transferring Secret Service, ATF and Customs to the new DHS, which had no tradition, no institutional history and no idea how its disparate parts were to work together.
That’s what music would be like today it if weren’t for the influx of R&B and Motown…yikes!
Hey, don’t dump on Broadway!

Agreed. Hillary timed this to boost her campaign.

Who could imagine that a crook would know enough to unzip the back rear window? I could understand if he had unzipped the front rear window, or the rear front window - but the “back rear window”? - inconceivable!
So…he saw a guy reaching into his car, but didn’t think he took anything, and so…he didn’t chase after the guy? Also, “unzipped” sounds like the agent has a convertible or something that can be easily broken into. And last week we had the agent who was suspended for burglarizing his ex-gf’s place and then killed. There are some serious, serious issues with recruitment, training, and discipline here. What on earth is going on at the Secret Service?
With all the problems, screw ups, misdeeds and all out law breaking; I’m thinking these guys are a bunch of boys club racists just waiting (wanting?) something to happen our POTUS!
Why hasn’t any of this shit happened on w’s watch?
I am worried for our President!
