Discussion: Report: RNC Source Says GOP Guv Candidate’s Trump Criticism Cost Her

Nooooooo…it definitely is NOT Krispy Kreme’s 15% approval rate or the Orange Buffoon in the WH or Bridgegate (designed and operated by Rethugs) or her being Krispy’s lieutenant that are causing the Gooper candidate problems. Nosirree bob.

Now, I would also like to talk to you about some unblemished waterfront property in Florida that I can get you a great deal on…

That’s the Modern Republican Party! Supports Communism and Sexual Molestation!

What’s not to like?

HaS Trump been talking about her?

She will be the NJ governor when snowballs survive in Hell.

I don’t understand this story. One interpretation is that all the rich donors in new jersey are sexual-predator-loving jerkwads. But another interpretation is that it’s the RNC who is sexual-predator-loving jerkwads, and won’t support a female candidate, especially one who criticized Dear Leader.

The fact that the party leadership in the state is deep underwater might just be icing.

I think if woman consents to being sexually molested by a Communist it’s her right.

She’s also heavily criticized Christie, and it’s no secret that her boss is sabotaging her campaign. Trump is not an aberration in the GOP.

Actually it was just because she wasn’t beautiful enough. You have to appeal to Republicans’ dicks if you want to win their cash!

what is killing her is that

Kim Guadagno is Chris Christie’s two term lieutenant governor

His two time running mate - trusted second in command …for every single minute of the past 8 years of the Chris Christie reign of duplicity, trash talking, incivility and uber-bullying - Kim Guadagno has been his loyal right hand - supportive and synchronized with the bombastic bastard.

it will be very difficult for her to cleanse herself of all of that putrid stench.

“[The President] is unhappy with anyone who neglected him in his hour of need,” the [unnamed insider source within the RNC’s top leadership] said, adding: “Christie was not as stalwart as some people in the party, but at least he didn’t go against him the way she did.”

We’re going out of our way now to sound as sinister as possible? That’s like something out of a cheesy B-rated movie.

…and already we’re seeing T rump proving to be a political liability to aspiring Republicans. Can’t win with him. Can’t win without him. What’s a Republican to do?

NOBODY is buying the “heavily criticized Christie” - everything was peachy enough to run with him for the second term - it was only once the ship was sinking that she started to chirp - while Christie has managed to be a real prick to her in a few ways - her recent turn to criticism seems short on sincerity & long on desperation & opportunism.

“She went down there, …’” Whitman told NJ.com.

Very Freudian.

Party over the people…again, and always for the Rs

If the RNC isn’t putting money into a state that already has a R governor it’s because they think/know they are going to lose.

I’m sure Christie’s…ahem…large taint…is the bigger issue here. But I clicked expecting the trump-criticism to be of health-care, or Russia problems, or any one of many things. Instead, it’s the grab-em-by-the-youknowwhat tape?!?

Are these RNC vultures freaking serious? They’re singling her out for her pushback on the absolute nadir of modern presidential candidates? There’s lotsa (male, still-elected) congresspeople who said similar things. Where’s the vindictive retribution against them?

Cut to the day after the NJ Gubernatorial elections…and we find Christie and Guadagno silently sitting in a diner… “Don’t stop believin” is heard…then the scene cuts to black.

It speaks to Christie’s character. A decent politician might realize he is radioactive and allow a colleague to criticize him without retaliating. But he’s never once in his life taken the high road.

Everything that you said, plus this: She’s trying to position herself as a moderate, which is the opposite of her record, a rebuke to those who supported her as Lt. Gov, and a half-hearted con job aimed at the majority of NJ voters, who can’t wait for the Christie Administration to get swallowed up into the past.

She was also accused of trying to blackmail some of the mayors. No way is she winning.
