Discussion: Report: Rachel Dolezal Aiding Victim In Sexual Assault Case Against Brother

Discussion for article #237463

That’s nice…maybe she’ll realize just how much damage she’s done to the lives of a lot of others I might get close to forgiving her.

How much “help” will she be able to provide when cross-examined under oath? From false statements on applications to copying artwork, she won’t be the most unimpeachable witness.

Yeah yeah, so the whole family is sick in the head. Fucking shocker.

The End.

And PLEASE, for the love of all that is fucking holy, let that truly be THE END THE END THE END.

This is what I thought. Her family seems to have an inordinate amount of drama.

Can we please get back to our regularly scheduled program, 'Touched by a Duggar?"

(accidentally posted on wrong thread)

So perhaps there was a reason that she wanted as little as possible to do with her biological family? Who at a minimum, are contented to see her as nothing but a liar.

Please don’t take this wrong, because in no way do I intend to be a jackass. I profess my total ignorance in advance, so I have nothing to lose in asking. I’m sincerely just trying to learn, not challenge or dispute in any way.

Given that her accomplishments at the NAACP were deemed commendable, at least by those I’ve heard in the mainstream media, I’m struggling with how her fraud – and it is fraud, no doubt – could have done damage to people. It would help me immensely to understand that better.

So if I could so impose, I’d appreciate your thoughts on that. My mind is wide open and I’m amenable to any and all inputs. I know it’s complicated.

Thanks!!

The damage her fraud has done is in the Transgender Community. For instance, we have Dr. Ablow out there claiming that trans people are as big a fraud as Dolezal. And he isn’t the only one. They claim that her appropriation of Blackness is just the same fraud as trans women “pretending” to be women and so forth.

I don’t blame her for that. I blame the idiots and the bigots for that.

Given how TPM’s been acting lately I was afraid to even touch the original article with her in it for fear of what I might see.

I wasn’t aware that she’d caused damage to people. She’s clearly offended a lot of people; has she actually done damage?

Well…guess all’s well that…oh you know! And looks like she’s landed a new job representing her people’ at her local Spokane chapter of the ASPCA:

Yes, indeed, I’ve heard that too. But to my thinking at least, people like Ablow will use any and all opportunities to justify their filthy bigotry. I’m in no way suggesting that Dolezal be forgiven for those implications, only that this bigot would use the fact that the sun is rising to claim that he’s on the righteous path.

Thanks for the dialogue, and please feel free to add as you deem fit. I’m always up to learn new things! Thanks!!

You’re welcome. Sometimes I think I just am too aware of the fact that what I do can impact others and forget that others don’t think that way.

The problem is that I know the biology behind a lot of things…culture and language are not genetically transferred, and while skin pigmentation is, it has no impact on the brain map which tells each of us what parts our bodies have. Trans women actually have brain maps identical or nearly identical to those of cis women, according to several studies, and that makes a certain sense.

Oh please. Ridiculous to blame her for that. Absolutely ridiculous.

It appears that newly diagnosed “Dolezal Syndrome” is beginning to spread in Spokane:

So, a white woman posed as an African American woman and became the head of a small chapter of the NAACP. Her brother allegedly sexually assaulted a child. The parents, then sided with the brother who has allegedly sexually assaulted a child by outing the white daughter to the local news media.

I got all that right? I’m going to go with very bad parenting on this one.

I haven’t been following this, being a white guy it doesn’t seem like its my place, but has there been any discussion of her performance of her duties as head of what has to be a huge NAACP office in Spokane? I’'m curious is it just that she’s dishonest and a kind of whacky or is she incompetent as well?
