She accused her parents of using a baboon whip on her, just like slaves. But she has yet to show the scars. She has reported numerous hate crimes to police, yet there has never been one shred of evidence they actually occurred (reporting a false crime is …a crime). There have been other instances where she has done bad to others as well, do some reading up on her.
And frankly, let’s see what becomes of this abuse case. Did she have a grudge against the uncle, and coached a young relative from “uncle gives hug” to “assault”. Oh, I am not saying that is what happened, but at this point that certainly has to be looked at. Hell, she accused the parents of using baboon whips on her. That’s just messed up.
She has also used being “black” to further her positions elsewhere. And now we find out she sued Howard University for discriminating against her…for being white?
She’s just bad news. No wonder the NAACP dumped her. I hope they investigate some of those hate crimes further now, and maybe charge her with a crime.
Artemisia, that is called having an acute awareness of and application of your empathy. You are one of the good humans, as far as I am concerned.
I don’t blame Dolezal for what that idiot on FOX Entertainment can conjure up. Remember, these are the same folks who blame Obama and his administration for droughts, wars on Christian faiths, a plan to invade and take over Texas, etc. They are nothing if not hateful and plenty stupid.
Initially the chapter said they didn’t care what color she was, she had been doing her job well.
Then they caught a lot of flack on two grounds:
A) How dare this woman who volunteered to present herself as black, maintain that she understands the situation of and can speak for those who have had no choice in the matter and have experienced our society’s take since birth? B)that because this leader has lied, bigots willl press the ,
‘argument’ that every body else is lying also.
OK – Her fraudulent accusations of hate crimes cause the claims of real victims to be met with skepticism. I am sure you have heard the story of the boy who cried wolf. Try googling Tawana Brawley.
She’s certain damaged the credibility and reputations of those that believed her and stood by her. The NAACP probably stood by her initially because she told them this story of family’s retaliation. However NAACP obviously withdrew their support when they realized they could not believe her anymore. The case against her brother may also be a fabrication. And this shows there are more possible victims to her antics. Perhaps her brother and her family, or the alleged victim of molestation have beeb played. Every institution and every person she drew into her web will pay for her actions in some way. I wonder if she’ll lose custody of her son. She claimed spousal abuse. Was that true or another whopper? Has anyone seen an interview with her ex-husband?
How about the possibility that there are well-intentioned people who grow jaded and skeptical after being treated to high profile instances of race hustling? This is why someone like her is a liability to those that are deserving of justice.
No joy - -just amazement and frankly anger that someone thinks they can lie with such impunity and that some people actively or passively excuse and enable it.
This is exactly why what she did is so potentially damaging to real victims of abuse or racial injustice – all will be met with heightened and possibly unfair scrutiny because of her. Some fine advocate there.
