Update:
El Paso police report that a suspiciously unarmed man spotted heading toward an El Paso shopping mall was wrestled to the ground and forcibly armed by the police well before he was close enough to endanger anybody there. “There are a lot of minors who hang out there,” one officer told us on the condition we withhold his name, “so we stopped that pervert cold before he could take advantage of their innocence.”
