Discussion for article #223430
If you love someone or something, set it free.
Anyone know if the gun was ok?
Well, that was downright unsafe. She must not be a Real Responsible Gun Owner.
In fairness, people in Louisiana throw shit out the car window all the time. It was likely in a McDonald’s bag or tied to a puppy she didn’t want any more.
Thanks Gramma!!! Nothing says “love” like ditching the evidence…
The gun was too small, so her “catch-and-release” training kicked in.
Don’t forget that they probably had a “conservation conservative” bumper sticker.
Look at how grandma just threw her freedom away.
All we need now is to find out that the gun went off and shot someone after it was tossed from the car.
But if it did, so what? That wouldn’t be HER fault.
Well, that’s the last one of the Southern states to get mentioned via an incidence of gun carelessness. Leading the Southern states on TPM:
Texas
My guess is that she drove for over a mile after “the gun discharged” trying to decide whether to toss the gun or the grandson out the window.
OMG Now that was too funny.
You’re killing me
That’s no way to treat a … gun.
Do you think Granny was keeping it in the glove compartment just in case another driver was experiencing road rage 'cause Granny was driving to slow in the left lane, you know, and had to be ready to defend herself? Or if a “suspicious” looking teenager walking down the street…
This is small-time stuff. This is what happens when everyone is armed:
Georgia police officer shot to death making arrest at Waffle House
Gunman kills Virginia police officer, teenager in shooting spree
I was just in New Orleans. The only way I could have felt even safer would have been if everyone had been packing heat.
I read the story from a local source. Truly bizarre. Three white guys and a woman show up at WH drunk, start race baiting Jordan who is black. They take it outside and the woman gets belligerent, Jordan attempts to arrest her when her boyfriend shots him 4 times in the back. Jordan’s brother, who was in the parking lot visiting his brother then shots the white guy who shot his brother. And of course Jordan’s mom was flying in for her grandson’s graduation the next day. So now, she get’s to bury her son. He left seven kids.
Back in my day this would have just been a fistfight in a parking lot - with no fatalities.
Whenever I see a headline like this, the first question is - in what Southern state did this happen?
