Was the gun returned to it’s owner? Will it need therapy or a good cleaning? Will it be able to shoot or kill again? Is it being punished for not killing the 10yo - or was this just a warning shot?

That kid will be reminded of his foolish behavior every time he looks at his hand. Every time. For the rest of his life as that is how long the scars will last.
