Discussion: Report: Grandmother Tossed Gun From Car After 10-Year-Old Shot Himself In Hand

Was the gun returned to it’s owner? Will it need therapy or a good cleaning? Will it be able to shoot or kill again? Is it being punished for not killing the 10yo - or was this just a warning shot?

Well, granny, that gun sure kept you and your family safe, didn’t it now? Morans, the lot of you gun nuts.

Symbolic gesture. She’s got more guns at home, behind the cereal box, in the laundry hamper, and under the map collection.

It’s a perpetual process. Load, fire, tragedy, repeat.

I hope the 10-year-old gets the death penalty for causing so much harm to the gun.

This comment is brilliant.

It’s what rednecks mean when they say “a drive-by shooting.”

That kid will be reminded of his foolish behavior every time he looks at his hand. Every time. For the rest of his life as that is how long the scars will last.

Now isn’t this a case of gun abuse? I mean, it’s gotta hurt getting tossed out a window of a moving car.

Just another case of irresponsible gun ownership.
