Discussion: Report: Fox's Guilfoyle Pushed Out Over Abusive Behavior, Sexual Misconduct

I wonder how that son of hers is turning out. He should be about 11.

Like the father, the son has all the best people.

I’d agree with that but I’m not even stressing that there’s a continuum. All I’m doing is speculating that maybe FOX is describing these incidents in a way meant to let people think the worst. Just that. No excuse-making, no minimizing, no brief for Kimberly Guilfoyle.

No brief at all. Cuz she’s certainly been debriefed.

Make sure to tip your waitresses.

If Mueller’s investigators have to look at pictures of Trump junk, well, I just hope they’re getting overtime and battle pay. That’s not in any reasonable job description.

She seems nice.

… they are preparing for that eventuality - have been advised that steps need to be taken to accurately inspect the diminutive specimen

Indeed it is tragic, and thanks for pointing that out. We all like to ridicule the Trumps, me especially, but Jr was a hostage and a victim too, just like Barron is/will be. There was someone who knew Junior in college who went public before the election. He says that Jr. had a serious drinking problem, and that he witnessed Trump being abusive to his son. I don’t care who it is, my heart goes out to him. Jr has also apparently gotten help and is living sober, so I give him credit for that. His life must be an up-hill battle. It would be a lot easier if he could free himself from his father.

ā€œSources who spoke to HuffPost said Guilfoyle was emotionally abusive toward hair and makeup artists;ā€

Well, if someone made me look like that, I might have gotten angry, too.

She has a Leona Helmsley face.

If a co-worker showed me pictures of male genitals, and I said I didn’t want to see pictures like that, and the co-worker didn’t stop, how would the behavior be characterized? As harassment? It actually happened to me, but the person stopped, so I thought no harm, no foul.

Yes I agree that they are fully capable of characterizing it to suit their needs. And I share your sneaky instincts that FOX is spinning it. If it were Ailes or O’Reilly they managed to never call what they did by it’s proper name…but seemed to have put the xtra sinister spin on her behavior.

Oh yeah. Her face rhymes with ā€œwitch.ā€

Based on the training I’ve had at my company this is unquestionably sexual harassment. If she was using her corporate phone for it, it’s even worse. My guess is that she stood out as a total asshole - quite an accomplishment at Fox - and this gave them reason to shit can her. Point is, though, this behavior would get you in trouble in most workplaces.

While he must have realized the damage that the alcohol was doing to him physically and emotionally, he still seems to be in denial about his father’s detrimental effects. Or perhaps his avarice, hoping for a tidy inheritance, is overriding any other factor relating to his father. But all the evidence seems to suggest that he’s still chasing the rainbow, trying to earn Senior’s favor.

It’s hard to have much sympathy for him so long as he continues to hitch himself to his father’s wagon. Until he acknowledges the damage and cuts ties like Tiffany, he’s going to continue to suffer. And it’s tragic and pitiable, but he has to be willing to take that first step.

It might be called harassment, or a hostile work environment. Maybe that second involves multiple harassers? I’d have to call HR to check. I work alone so my opportunities to harass are few.

Thanks. I work alone so my opportunities to harass are few. :grinning:

And aren’t we all grateful for that?

Love to see a photo of her pre-2006 back in SF. I doubt she looked so ā€œsculptedā€ back then. Another plastic-fantastic wingnut bitch.

That made me smile . . . .
