This officer didn’t just threaten to kill Brown, he shot him in cold blood and left his body to bleed out in the middle of the street.
First off, if I was such a coward that I couldn’t deal with the community without being on a hair trigger of fear that led to the murder of an unarmed man, I’d find another line of work – that’s what I’d do.
If I worked in a police force where an adversarial culture was instilled from the top down, as unambiguously evidenced by the militarized response to people merely exercising their Constitutional rights and expressing their wholly justified outrage, I’d find another department to work for that cooperated with the community rather than treating them like the enemy, that’s what I’d do.
He did neither. What he did was shoot down an unarmed man in cold blood.
So, what would you do?

Surprise! NOT! Cops are the born cowards and bullies who live amongst us, thus their love of the job. Getting paid (sadly by us taxpayers!) to feed their sadism is icing on their cake. The difference between firefighters and cops? Firefighters run INTO obvious danger, hoping to SAVE someone OR something (yes, even the terrified growling dog backed into a corner of a burning room!) Cops creep into POSSIBLE danger, hoping to SHOOT someone OR something… and unfortunately but all too often it is usually a family’s beloved dog that ‘barks’ at them and makes them piss their pants and pull their gun!
Cowards usually flee the scenes of their crimes.
