Fleeing the scene doesn’t inspire confidence…

This is a sign of guilt. The cover up is in full effect.

Where are the toxicology reports for HIM? Just kidding. they are too busy trying to make sure the dead kid was on the weed…

Yep. That about fits. His buddies on the force let him get a couple of full days head-start…Nevermind having to stay in the vicinity like all other suspects after a potential crime has been committed, when you’re under suspicion and an on-going investigation is underway.

That’s what might be called shielding behind that Thin Blue Line.

His comrades in armor and the KKK will be fundraising for him so like George, he will be OK.
So do you suppose he just went home, packed and left and that is why there is no patrolman’s report. Maybe he just doesn’t want to be an eyewitness under oath.

While the reports I’m seeing make the acceptance of the free military surplus seemingly impossible for sheriffs and chiefs to resist, the reality I’m aware of shows in some cases that if a sheriff has qualms about a free tank and sound cannon the politically-shaded old boy whispering starts to question his manhood and fitness…

I just checked demographics of Crestwood, MO-it’s 93% white. I guess Darren leaves the comfort of an all white city to go battle the ā€œanimalsā€ in Ferguson,MO. This is why you have issues like this killing because the think that they are zoo keepers. They need to control the animals. If one the animals resist their control, they get the chance to be ā€œBig Game Hunterā€ for a little while. Oh how exciting. The police should live within the borders of the city they work in.

You have to have some compassion for this guy and his family’s safety, but doesn’t this indicate a flight risk if/when this leads to a criminal trial? Would the Ferguson PD be complicit in aiding and abetting a fugitive if he doesn’t return to cooperate with an investigation or to face charges?

IF this man actually exists, a warrant should be issued for his return to the city as a possible suspect in a murder. No less would be done for any ā€˜non-cop’ individual.

How come no news organization has made any comments on the history of this cop?? Surely, his prior history would be the first thing a reporter would investigate.

So I understand: you wonder if this man even exists? Or if this man (who has fled) is actually the possible suspect?

Do we know there is no patrolman’s report?

Therein lies the problem with this mess. Nobody, but nobody has any faith Chief Jackson will follow the law and seek justice. He acts more like a gang leader than a sworn officer of the law.

They had received death threats against the officer and his family I’d hardly call that skipping town!

The man got death threats against himself and his family … I’d hardly call that ā€œfleeing the sceneā€. But I suppose you’d hang around in that scenario right?

So you’d stay at home with death threats lodged against you and your family? Yeah that’s a real sign of guilt and a cover up…

Probably worth mentioning that for at least two of those six years the Ferguson police department didn’t keep records on use of force. It’s not so much what is said but more about what is not said. The Chief has said nothing about the shooting, but a lot about how the victim might or might not be a suspect in a robbery. Of course, he also didn’t say anything about why the suspect in the video was wearing different shoes and had a hat too. He didn’t mention or dispute the statement that the officer started the confrontation by telling him (and his friend) to stop walking in the street and get on the sidewalk. Seems a strange thing if he was a prime suspect in a crime. And…there’s no information that says he, or his friend, had a box of cigars at the time of the shooting.

According to an article in Salon, for at least two years of this man’s employment the Ferguson police department didn’t even keep records of use of force.

Lemme guess that the chief knew nothing about it.
