Three prior convictions and able to get a job as a security contractor?
How did he get a gun???
And why exactly was he even on an elevator with Pres. Obama?
OK, I’m going with others. One or two blunders, yeah ok, mistakes sometimes happens.
But the latest info coming out makes these people seem like Barney Fife. Not fit to protect the president.
But yeah, it’s the woman’s fault, according to Ingraham.

When I was a small town working journalist, I used to have great respect for the Secret Service. They were efficient and effective, stating timelines and following them for the Presidential visits I got to attend.
I am wondering what the hell happened?

I do not care who the President is but it is the Secret Service’s job to provide security for him, to keep him and his family safe from harm. They are failing miserably now.

When has the Secret Service prevented a presidential assassination? Even Raygun was shot. Unfortunately, James Brady was the unlucky one.
Maybe it’s because they don’t really think it can happen? Who knows.

I watched Maddow’s coverage on the SS last night and all I could think was " this is absurd!" Indeed it is.
I am shocked and scared for POTUS and his family.

No. When they’re gone, it’s not the same security, I would think.
I’m so glad they didn’t shoot the guy. Interesting that those supposedly watching let him get that far, but that may have more to do with funding.
Guess the stories about them having too much fun are taking a hit on the bottom line.
I have no doubt that those protecting Obama are doing their actual jobs.

Well, what do you expect? The GOP/Teatrolls have been telling the SS in no uncertain terms for 6+ years that Obama should not be protected. And they’ve been telling their base in no uncertain terms for 6+ years that Obama should be threatened, attacked and taken out. And yes, I mean that almost literally. 6+ years of this behavior sends a very VERY clear signal in this regard, not just to the SS in terms of protecting him and the GOP/Teatroll base in terms of threatening him, but also to people like Putin or whatever in terms of respecting him. They have done everything possible to undermine him from Day 0 because you know what? They want a disaster to either befall him or to blame on him.

But the fact is that they shot that woman, with arms raised, after she tried to drive into a barricade near DC with her baby in the backseat. Yes, she had issues, but she certainly wasn’t a threat to the POTUS or anyone else.
I’m surprised no one brings that up.
