Discussion for article #241920
More free stuff. Shouldnât you be looking to the private sector to solve all of your security needs?
As a taxpayer this really brasses me off.
Trump said last week that his own Secret Service protection had not been approved because heâs a Republican and âthey donât give a shit.â
Martyrdom, of course. You couldnât be republican without professing persecution.
Indeed.
Youâre welcome.
purely a status thingâŚ
No.
So Trump is seeking free security? Can he not afford a private army?
Hey Donald, youâre a billionaire - surely you can pay for your own protection.
Bingo.
Why? These guys are always whining about people getting something they donâtâŚit USED to be you got âprotectionâ if you actually made it into the nominationâŚ
Protection? They donât need no stinkinâ protection. Donald will shoot Tough Guy Glare Rays at the attacker until his gun melts, and anyway he might be armed himself; he sometimes carries a concealed pistol because, he says, it makes him âfeel much better.â Heâll be protecting the Secret Service guys, not the other way around. Carson will blandly suggest the bad guy shoot someone else, and itâll work out fine because the whole encounter will be imaginary anyway.
Does Drumpf realize that getting Secret Service protection would mean that his private security would have to step aside? Secret Service will not allow a protectee to also have private bodyguards.
Why donât they just open carry? Isnât that the answer to everything?
Let these narcissists pay for their own damned security. They donât deserve protection on our dime â especially since neither of them are going to be the GOP nominee.
Paying attention to troublesome details youâre too ignorant to know and too bullheaded to bother asking about is a loser thing.
Suggestions for Trumpâs Secret Service code name?
âLoudmouth Idiotâ is a little too on the nose, I guess.
Ben Carson and Trump should just rally their staff and rush any armed threat. After all, they canât get you all, right Ben?
