Discussion: Rep’s Staffers Collected Four Dead Voters’ Signatures, Allegedly Forged Dozens More

It’s crazy how almost every time you hear of deliberate voter fraud, it’s a Republican committing the crime. Paging Kris Kobach - we’ve got a live one here for you as opposed to the dreck you usually come up with.

But were they dead people of color? Because that’s the only kind of voter fraud that counts.

OT: another mass shooting, in Florida at a Madden tournament.

Cue the “thoughts and prayers” while doing zero to help prevent gun deaths.

Its a form of psychological projection that infects the Conservative movement. They accuse others of doing what they themselves are very heavily engaged in. 99% of the time they accuse someone of something its because they’re doing it. Pay attention and you’ll see that this isn’t hyperbole.

And yet they insist that their plans, policies, and way is good for America. They are horrible at actually taking/selling constituents of their goals.

Chicago says hi. If the national GOP is calling Ducey for a deal on his appointed senator that helps Doug the Douce personally, Rod Blagojevich, will cry.

Taylor could always pull a “Duncan Hunter” and blame his wife.

“Taylor, who, through a campaign spokesperson has said he was aware of his staffers collecting signatures for Brown, has professed ignorance of any unlawful behavior.”

OK, although it might not be illegal to send your staff round to get another candidate on the ballot in order to tilt the election your way, it is absolutely unethical as fuck, and that alone should give anyone pause before voting for him. How is this not a clear precursor to his behavior once in Congress? Bending laws and ethics, while dancing along the edge of illegal? Screw that!

Draining the swamp? Not by electing swamp critters like this guy…

I don’t know what the deal is. Zombies have their own TV shows, movies, breakfast cereals, why can’t they vote too? What are we, Deadists? Time for the Zufferagettes to rise up! Or parts of them anyway.

As we all suspected there IS rampant voter fraud happening!

It just happens to be Republicans committing fraud, again.

Register people to vote. There is a Federal Voter Registration form you can download and use in all 50 states and US Territories- https://vote.gov/files/federal-voter-registration_1-25-16_english.pdf. Print out a bunch and keep them with you. Register people on the spot!

If you need to help people overcome the GOP-led voter-run-around campaign help them do that. This site, https://www.aauw.org/resource/organize-a-voter-registration-drive/, has a how-to on organizing a voter registration drive. Or even sitting outside Wal Mart with a folding chair and a card table.

And while we’re here organize a League of Women Voters chapter in your community if you don’t already have one.

“With respect to the efforts by some in our campaign to assist Ms. Brown in getting on the ballot, there is an investigation that is ongoing, and it obviously would not be appropriate to comment at this time.”

Their last take on it was “we wanted to make sure that a qualified candidate wasn’t shut out of the process, but didn’t do anything wrong.” This time, it’s “we made efforts, but we’re not going to comment.” Next it’s going to be, “Even if we did it it wasn’t illegal,” then “Sure we did it, but it was for a good reason.”

Taylor is a Dumpy of the first order.

@booch221 He isn’t married. Hasn’t been connected with any one woman. One wonders whether he uses a condom “my God you’ll catch a disease” or is a family values guy who has paid for abortions.

Word too is that he left the Navy because he was injured in combat, but mysteriously doesn’t have a Purple Heart.

You can’t trust a guy who holds a cookie like that. It’s a cookie not Polonium.

Wait a minute. Haven’t the courts ruled that corpses are people? Have I gotten that muddled somehow?

ETA: The tip-off should have been the presence of a certain Soylent Green on the list of registered voters.

In SD, a candidate in the last election signed forms indicating that she had herself collected the signatures. She was in Hawaii at the time. She was tried, convicted, spent 2 years in jail, lost her medical license, and pretty much has had her life destroyed.

Don’t fake signatures on voting forms, folks. And this is not partisan. Both sides do it.

The T&P crowd will blame video games and the no-weapons policy at the tournament site. How much of a burden do you expect them to bear when we are only talking about 30,000 firearms deaths per year?

I’d like some examples of “both sides,” please.

I have also noted that the more jealous partner in a relationship is the one who is cheating because that person knows how easy it is to get away with it.

Delightful congressman, throwing everybody in his crew under the bus. I hope the 3rd party candidate has the grace to decline running, just because the signatures are now all tainted. I mean ‘59’ out of 117 or whatever. That’s about HALF so I don’t think there is much enthusiasm for his candidacy.

Easy mistake. The GOP lumps corporations and corpses together in the category of “those who should pay zero taxes.”

I don’t know if this is true but I was under the impression that the Arizona Governor kinda-sorta promised John McCain that CINDY McCain would be picked to finish out his term. (This happened when the deadline for a resignation which ‘would’ cause a special election THIS year in which the Dems appear to be doing quite well in Arizona.)
