Discussion for article #242211

It’s been said before, they don’t want to govern, they want to rule.

Anyone who supports this legislation is complicit in supporting “the way things are” in Washington.

If the only alternative is what the Freedom Caucus is proposing - shut it all down, I’m with the backroom deals on this one.

Why did the DC press corp think that replacing Boehner would suddenly make these fuckwits be reasonable?

They’d get your input if you had anything worthwhile to say.
They don’t need much input for ‘Burn everything down!’
Okay, got it. Next point of view?

Let’s see…

Terrorists keen on destroying our nation? Yep.
Want to control women? Yep.
Orgasm at executions? Yep.
Against diversity, be it cultural, spiritual, or ethnic. Yep.
Believe LGBTs should be scorned and their “behavior” outlawed at a minimum. Yep.
Want a storm trooper type police force to protect them from “those people.” Yep.
Want to see our privacy curtailed for the good of the state. Yep.
Want to see our laws applied in an unequal way. Yep.
Want to see guns everywhere. Yep.
Want to our schools to teach religious theocracy. Yep.
Barring our schools from teaching anything that contradicts their theocracy? Yep.

Draw your own conclusions.

These are madmen, who got elected to an office that they don’t want to work in.

They would also like the U.S. Capitol moved to Benghazi. But I doubt it will happen.

Because they’re the DC press corps - the only group dumber than the Teabaggers.

“Unity Speaker” my ass. Now that Boehner takes those headaches off the table, and assuming he has votes (which should normally be easy…), Ryan can happily abide by the FC whackos’ demand and bask in the glory of “Unity Speaker.” What a tool.

First test for Paul Ryan - vote Yea for governance, or Nay for anarchy by allowing himself to be led by the nihilists.

Yes, you whacked-out Teatard, bipartisan deals are nefarious, especially if they seek to maintain the full faith and credit of the USA. What a patriot.

I thought this was all a day late and a dollar short and that the budget was a done deal? The Freedumb Cockup’s votes aren’t needed to pass it as written.

What kind of pin is that? It doesn’t looking like an American flag.

What kind of traitor is he?

No. These “Freedom Caucus” fanatics are criminals. Elected government officials who deliberately work to shut down the government are treasonous, and are lending aid and comfort to America’s enemies.

Question: Boehner is giving this supposed gift to Ryan, so why is Ryan slamming it.
Another question: It doesn’t seem to me that Ryan is getting as much support as he needed to accept the Speakers role, so does he really want to be speaker? What am I missing?

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) blasted the bipartisan deal that was being pushed by outgoing House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH).
…
One House member does not constitute a majority Mr Meadows.
Looks like this particular member wants the country to fail to meet its financial obligations. I wonder if this is how he approaches his personal finances.
