Have we impeached the motherfucker yet?

It would make easier to get these records if we did.

Welp, it makes Nancy’s call that much easier.

“The Democrat Party, with its newfound control of the U.S. House of Representatives, has declared all-out political war against President Donald J. Trump,”

Is this a valid reason to file a lawsuit? “They’re being meeeeean to me.”

Who knew audits were such a bitch?

In a word, no. The House committee either has the legal power to issue and enforce the subpoena, or it doesn’t. Whether or not its motives are pure doesn’t really enter into it.

While congress is away, the rat will play. Two weeks of the Orange Blabber Mouth yapping and obstructing justice will be tiresome.

Thanks Republicans.

And congrats for the success, so far beyond your dreams, in achieving your goal of transforming us into a Banana Republic led by a two bit authoritarian wannabe.

Thanks to Dems too for always being so accommodating to the GOP in the name of political comity and bipartisanship.

Any fighting against this usurpation of power is OFF THE TABLE. Unless of course if the Republicans want Dems to fight. The Dems are waiting for at least thirty GOP Senators to signal by obvious hand gestures that they will support the Dems in a fight against this creeping rule by a mad and evil man.

IT IS ALWAYS TOO EARLY TO MAKE ANY BOLD MOVE. WHAT IF WE FAIL?

A much better way is to keep on issuing sternly worded demands. That will show the Trumpians.

Prior decisions indicate that Courts can’t question Congress’ reasoning for wanting something for oversight purposes. If that were the case, we would’ve shut down the Benghazi hearings. Congress is allowed to ‘witch hunt’ if it wants.

Did the Dems sue the chairman of the investigating committee over Benghazi?

Of course not.

The Republican war against frivolous lawsuits continues.

Not!

Could a judge just dismiss the suit because there is no such thing as the Democrat Party? Suing or referencing something that does not exist seems grounds for dismissal.

But if you have nothing to hide, Donnie, why the lawsuit?

Particularly when a stable genius signed off on said tax returns?

Well, there is the law, and there is whatever nonsense wingnut judges will say the law is.

If a judge sticks to the plain language of the law, this lawsuit will be immediately dismissed with prejudice. It’s nonsense.

And then Trump will go to the public and cry about “judicial activism” or some such nonsense.

This lawsuit serves as a great example as to why the pressure must be maintained against Trump. Anybody who thinks Trump “isn’t worth it” or that he’ll just go away just isn’t paying attention. He’s a dangerous man precisely because he’s lawless.

Yeah these are the people who want to keep regular people from being to go to court to redress their wrongs.

Too bad for Trump that Cummings isn’t some New Jersey plumbing contractor that Trump stiffed.

Exactly!

Hay hay don’t upset the Trumpians please.

And?

I mean, isn’t that what is done when a nation is under attack?

See… here’s the problem, Donny. Cummings issued his subpoena to Mazars USA, not to you. You’re a third party. You have no standing in their case. If you want to horn in, try suing Mazars.

My god what a banana republic move. The more scared he gets, the bigger danger we’re all in.
