Though the story is complicated, I think people intuitively sense there’s something wrong here…and they’re worried about it. I think Republicans will pay a price if they try to sweep it under the rug.

It’s complicated in some ways, sure, but mostly I think it’s pretty easy to follow the basics.

-Russian dictator tries to help guy get elected.
-Guy gets elected.
-Several people within his campaign have ties to Russia.
-Cabinet member forced to resign after lying about ties to Russia.
-Another cabinet member says under oath he never met with Russians.
-Turns out said cabinet member had private meeting with Russian ambassador.
-Every single day, Russia, Russia, Russia, PP, Russia, PP associate, Russia, Russia, PP…

Even if the above is all you know and all you’ve heard, something stinks to high heaven.
