We have rules about sexual behavior which are a bit arbitraryāage of consent, etc. The age of consent has been as low as 13, and I believe it is 15 in some European countries.
For me, the deciding point is the following: if you are an adult, and you canāt agree to follow the law about the age of consentāwhatever that may beāthat is indicative of a serious problem. Thereās no reason any adult needs to dip into the kiddie pool.
