Not as powerful as some of the other ones.
I hope that they have something better in the works for the next few weeks.
Sneak peek. More powerful without dialogue.
Meh…she won’t win if all she and her PACs do is fling turds at Trump.
Thanks, GoET. I hadn’t realized until now that I was spending too much of my day on the internet.
I wasn’t exactly blown away by this one either, but I’m thinking it’s much more effective when you’re sitting in your living room watching TV and not expecting the train coming down the tracks as opposed to watching it on your computer or phone and knowing full well what’s coming.
Good ad, BUT;
The Clinton campaign needs to stop talking exclusively about how BAD Trump is and start talking about how GOOD Clinton is! You cannot get the votes you need by ONLY trashing the other opponent. You need some POSITIVE ADS about your candidate and I have not seen any lately.
We all know what a horror (“The Horror. The Horror.”) the Orange Buffoon is, we need more positive ads about Clinton and her policies and how they will HELP PEOPLE.
I think they wasted 6 figures on this ad. Hillary has better negative ads. What she needs right now are positive ads telling us why we should vote for her.
Sometimes I wonder if her supporters have positive thoughts about her and what she can accomplish. You wouldn’t know they like her from the ads.
Indeed, we’re at the point of diminishing returns with this kind of stuff. There are plenty voters who are now immune to it and are vulnerable to thinking, “I know Trump is supposed to be bad but he doesn’t seem that horrible…”
Sort of like when Cheney debated Edwards in 2004 and seemed subdued and charming in his own way.
I guess I’m not part of the norm here, but I think throwing the orange one’s words back at him verbatim, is very powerful indeed!
Agreed. There needs to be some balance here. They should certainly keep on with the negative ads but they need to be balanced by pro-Clinton ads. Unfortunately, the horribleness of the other candidate isn’t enough to inspire Democratic voters to get to the polls. Our voters tend to need to feel inspired by their own candidate, and if they’re not seeing enough positive reasons to go vote for her then many will stay home. Which is just as fucking insanely stupid as Republican voters who’ll vote for Trump because he’s a Republican. You shouldn’t need to be inspired, keeping Trump out of the Oval Office should be all the inspiration you need.
I’m not reall thrilled with the train metaphor. That makes him look strong. A donkey cart would have been more appropriate.
More watchable than two girls one cup.
Perhaps this is supposed to be scary, but it just looks scared. It makes Hillary look frightened and pessemistic.
What’s up? They don’t get naked?
" It makes Hillary look frightened and pessemistic."
Sorry but she ain’t no Joan of Arc.
Expect to see positive ads starting soon. Negative from the convention through September, positive in October. It’s an old campaign formula.
