And then close positive in the remaining week to ten days.

I donā€™t think so, but I confess that I didnā€™t watch it until the end. I was falling asleep.

This is for the very short memoried just prior to debate night.

Akin to cramming just before a test, the human brain remembers things quite clearly for 24 hours after learning, not bad at 48 and really starts descending after.

So always cram the HOpocalypse at the voters on big days, that is when they pay off the most.

HO hates children, dogs and old people also too. That vid should be up at debate # 2 ; )

Now thatā€™s what I call an ad! Another great soundtrack!
I bet it reads equally nicely in DVR FF modeā€¦

Princeton Electoral Consortium, which has a better record than Nate Silverā€™s 538 blog, has HRC chance of winning at 73%, albeit DOWN from the post Convention figures of 92%. So, I dont think she has this problem with men you keep imagining. But HO is below 30% chance of winning. And he has no chance of winning with Latinos, or African Americans, or women.

After the slightly strange train video, Iā€™ll admit, I almost expected it. I love the harp, but this is justā€¦meh.

I think she has to run ads like this to get out the information about Trump that the media is not reporting. But for those of you looking for something more uplifting, she just released another video (probably too long for an ad) ahead of the debate.

Watch this before you watch tonight's debate. #DebateNight pic.twitter.com/vnC4bMrS0Q

ā€” Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) September 26, 2016

What Team Clinton needs to do is talk about 1) her policies and how these will benefit average Americans and 2) her qualifications and why she will lead the nation capably.

One problem her campaign seems to have is allowing itself to be stumped by the self-begging question, ā€œWhat has Clinton accomplished.ā€ Their (truly lame) response to that has been to natter about helping women and children. Wrong response. ā€œAccomplishmentsā€ is quite simply red herring. Donā€™t chase that one. We donā€™t need a president who won a bronze medal in pole vaulting. We need a well-informed, cool head, someone who can listen to the experts, collate the information and make a reasoned response. We need someone who understands the world at a deep level, someone who can ask the right questions (and isnā€™t afraid to do so). We need someone who thinks before she acts, doesnā€™t get rattled easily, and cares about all Americans. Let me say right now that Iā€™ve never been a big fan of Hillary Clinton. I donā€™t expect here to be a great president, but I do think sheā€™ll be an adequate one. I also think thatā€™s enough to win this election. But good lord, she needs to show up and speak to that and not just run as TO.

Positive v. negative is one thing, but whatā€™s missing in the Clinton campaign is narrative.

If I asked 20 random people what Trumpā€™s vision of America is and what heā€™ do to move it forward, Iā€™d get a consistent answer along the lines of ā€œAmerica is taking it from all sides! Bad trade deals and immigration are killing us. We act weak around the world, and so the islamic terrorists see us as an easy target. But all the Democrats worry about is coddling the gays and the blacks. Iā€™ll make better deals. Iā€™ll kick ass at home and abroad to make America great again.ā€ Even people who cannot stand Trump know what he stands for (not ā€œstands forā€ as in his having convictions but ā€œstands forā€ as in signifies).

If you asked 20 people what Clintonā€™s vision of America is and what sheā€™d do to move it forward, youā€™d get 20 different answers.

The issue of minimum wage will work in OH, and NC. The gay marriage issue will work in FL. Womenā€™s/abortion rights/smaller bikinis/higher heels will work in all 4. Still, Iā€™ve seen more effective ads from the pacs.

I can actually see stupid, ignorant, racist men eating up Tangerine Manā€™s bullshit, but I simply cannot get my mind around all the women who find nothing wrong with Mr. Misogyny Trump???
Have they no self-respect? Do they ā€˜thinkā€™ when heā€™s talking about strumpets, pigs, tarts and sluts, heā€™s not talking about them?
I canā€™t find anyone who can fully explain it and Phyllis Schlafly is feeding worms at the moment.
I hazā€™ a confused???

I can only hope youā€™re right. Iā€™ve been saying from the get-go that turnout is the issue this year and that giving people something to vote FOR is what she has to do to win. Trump may be a fucking disaster, but people are inured to it now after the MSM normalized him with the unjournalism of false equivalence. She has got to get out there more prominently with a positive, affirmative message or we might just be looking at Trumpā€™s idiot orange face for the next SOTU address. I may have to go rogue if I have to watch a SOTU address that sounds like a cartoon used car salesman trying to pitch me Ford Pinto like itā€™s a Bentley

OK? Iā€™m well aware of those things, but what Iā€™m really curious about is where you got the idea that Iā€™m harping on Hillary for having a problem with men? Thatā€™s not in my post(ing) at all.

LOL! Yeah, it was ā€œslightly strangeā€, bordering on creepy. Iā€™m sure the two of us could have done better for half the price. You know, train wreck, scared children and mothers screaming with conductor Trump at the controls ā€¦

And two hottie twins playing the harp, which I also enjoy, left me disappointed. Had a European feel to it so I was thinking for sure the clothes were coming off.

And now to the pre-debates. Yikes, CNN must have 37 talking heads in the studio. This should be a long night.

All the cable networks have been covering this spectacle since yesterday. I DVRd some great shows and have been watching all day rather than cock up my brain before the debates. Poldark on PBS started last night. Pretty sensational show. Even reruns of HGTV are better than watching the talking heads all day. MSNBC/NBC folks even have jackets with Hofrstra debate 2015 logos on them. Oy vey iz mir

Time for her and her supporting PACS to lay out HER agenda clearly and vividly.

Krugmanā€™s column today was a start. Since no news media has reported on her plans, she has to start doing it regularly in her ads.

All I know is, my high school classmate who is also her pastor has taken a photo in the Hofstra venue, along with his boss, the bishop. So hopefully nothing too untoward will happen tonight that would require anything like the Methodist version of Last Rites.

Hi Sweet Pea

Saw about 4 episodes of Poldark last season just by chance. Pack enough drama and twists and turns as any famous soap opera. Last night was okay, a little slow, but previews for next week were interesting. Some really hung up dudes. Men even seemed more tortured than the women. Kinda makes me sad sometimes where all the lonely single women have so few options, lining up in their then pushup bras when a good looking single man (of privilege) or an old fat bore rides into town.

Whatā€™s up with Brad and Jolie? Crazy woman brings her kids to Syria and Iraq! No wonder heā€™s pissed.

And yes HGTV is better than watching all the chatty people telling us whatā€™s going to happen tonight.
