Time For Republicans ‘To Start Governing’

Thank you for your vague, meaningless statements.

Hey Reince, what’s your position on appointing a special prosecutor? Now that the American people have croaked your overwhelmingly hated Trumpcare, it’s time to start looking even deeper at the treasonous ties to your Russian accomplices.

Well Rinsed Prepuce, Democrats have been asking for your cooperation in “governing” since 1992, and where have you been? Jumping up and down in your cribs, peeing your pants at the boogeyman and screaming “NO!”

Whiny-assed titty baby,.

@antisachetdethe I believe that was ABC. Still one of the most effective educational programs ever created for commercial television.

“It would be nice to have some Democrats on board”. Holding all the meetings from bill drafting to final negotiations among Republicans only is a great way to achieve that. While the ACA was being drafted and discussed Obama had dozens of meetings with Rs and Ds; Trump had 0.

If the “President” were a real leader he would call all the leaders in Monday morning and ask them to draft a real bi-partisan bill. Of course he won’t because he isn’t one.

Reince, shut up
You da blame-ee! Or one of 'em
Who has time?
Nixon:Whatever it takes to save the plan
Trump:Whatever it takes to save the brand
Taking time out for Fox promos and golf, of course
It’ll be more than a 168-hour week

“Everything’s on the table,” Priebus said."

The rumor mills are indicating that the main thing on the table right now is Priebus’s head. From the Bannon and Trump perspective, Priebus owns the bill fiasco as much as Ryan did, as he was the WH person that worked with Ryan to create the roll out “strategy”.

Personally, I am a bit skeptical of Priebus being fired, only because they really don’t need another disgruntled ex employee on the outside, with more and more indications popping up that Flynn is turning coat with the FBI right now. Priebus knows way too much.

The dilemma, as I see it, is that if Republicans ever engaged in actual governing, they would not be the Republican Party, the “insurgent outlier” party that we see today. Governing means accepting responsibility and accountability for the welfare of the governed. If they did that, then they would become, at the very least, centrist Democrats.

Republicans campaign for office claiming government doesn’t work. Once elected, they prove it.

“At the end of the day.” That about describes it.

Thankfully, they have a calm, rational President to guide them in their quest to “govern”. /snark
