Discussion: PPP Poll: Forty Percent Of Voters Would Support Impeaching Trump

I suppose I should be surprised that it is only 40%, but given the intelligence level of most Americans, sadly I am not

I say make it happen, but Rethugs control the House and Senate. If only Democrats controlled both House and Senate then this fool would be out yesterday.

Still… #unpresidented … Ha ha ha

I never thought I’d see the day where I’d gladly welcome a President Mike Pence. That day has come. Actually, it came two weeks ago.

So, at a growth rate of 5%/wk, it’ll be 100% by the end of March.

BTW: You can help this process along by faxing your Congressman. Unlike phone calls and voicemails, faxes have to be logged as a “physical communication” so they can’t be conveniently “lost.”

Frightening. Crazy. And likely.

The day may yet come when the Republicans want to impeach. They can’t convict, however, without Democratic votes in the Senate. For that, the Dems would likely want something in return.

If the Republicans want him out, look for them to use the 25th Amendment to do it. That way, they won’t need Democratic help and they won’t have to compensate them.

Edit: CharlieE notes that Democratic help is needed regardless of the process. Good. Let them extort for all they’re worth.

Same as it ever was.

As Garry Trudeau said 40+ years ago:

The 12% undecideds = Let’s let that moron make a yuge ass of himself a little bit more so that he will take down the GOP/Nazifrogs with him.

… well most likely not all of those undecideds, but this is what I want to believe.

Let them (the GOP) do it

Trump: 60% think I am a winner. That means I win the popular vote.

20% the first week;
40% the second week;
60% the third week;
80% the fourth week;
and then it levels out.

Still enough…

Alright, people, place your bets. How high is it gonna get before the hammer drops on him?

I don’t trust this stuff anymore…not the ‘poll’ but that people actually WOULD vote to impeach…First off, it would be a Congress thing and they are too invested in ‘power’ to care that a crazy man is in the White House and secondly, I sat thru that whole Scott Walker recall CONVINCED Wisconsin had not gone to the dark side…but yeah…

You should want Trump there.

  • Pence is significantly dangerous (not visible as Trump).
  • Trump needs to take the Republican Party down with him. Longer he stays there, better it is. 2018 might become competitive.

Enough of playing these games with wanting Trump there. It didn’t work for the election. And it is way WAY too dangerous to leave him as president if he could be removed.

“Only 48 percent of voters opposed impeaching Donald Trump.”

Only 39% opposed permanently relocating him to Mogadishu.

Only 27% opposed surgically removing his thumbs.

And, most amazing, only 19% opposed locking him in a Chuck E. Cheese for the remainder of his term.

PPP should also be asking if voters would support removing Trump from office due to mental incapacity.
