Wait a minute! Doesn’t providing free showers to the homeless encourage homelessness. Aren’t all these homeless and poor people out there just to get the freebies? That’s what a majority of us 'merkins think! Well, maybe we don’t think. But then again, I entirely agree with the myriads of my fellow 'merkins who think this Pope is a commie. All those of us who screamed and yelled about obeying the Pope now think that obeying the Pope is a sure sign of the Devil, or at least Barack Hussein Obama.

In a small city near me, a wonderful human being named Betty Chinn has put in showers for people who need them, after a decade or more of offering them food and caring. The city leadership hates her, I suspect the bishops find her well-meaning but confused. President Obama had her to the White House for an award.

I know this headline presents opportunities that you could drive a truck through to make fun of, but the Pope is just serving people which is what a good Christian should do.

This is a wonderful story which TPM will latch on to. Most of the comments will say how they love this Pope. However, he just put together a group to study the pedophilia scandal and there are no church members on it except clergy. The people who pay the freight are not represented. Please be more demanding of the Church and the leader before you express admiration.
