Showers are a start. What about a soup line and some cots? How about using some of that enormous wealth to build housing and assistance for homeless people. Some will need medical treatment, others will need training for relevant skills for a job, others will psychological assistance. The showers are a welcomed first step.

Actually, in Lauderdale, they’re throwing 90 year old World War II vets into jail for giving food the homeless.

However, in Fort Lauderdale, they’re merely fining them.
