And every single one of them is a threat to liberty.

It almost goes without saying that the Establishment Clause of the Constitution prohibits establishing of a national religion.

Yes indeed and they love the Constitution more than the rest of us tooā€¦ sometimes.

Assuming they can even read.

American Conservative Christian Fundamentalists, aka Republicans, remind me of a lot of thingsā€¦greed, avarice, dishonesty, MEANNESS, homophobia, racial prejudiceā€¦but the one thing they never ever remind me of is Jesus.

Thatā€™s their idea of ā€œFreedom of Religionā€ you can choose any of the Protestant variations.

Actually, the margin of error is 57%. So much for original intent constitutionalism.

I bet they also support rounding up non-Christians into cattle cars and shipping us all off to ā€œre-education campsā€.

kind of a setup, donā€™t you think? ā€œDemocratic-leaningā€ pollster polls republicans on directly violating the constitution. Not that the results are surprising.

Iā€™m not laughing. This is serious and it is sick. We are doomed unless intelligence can gain a foothold on this mess.

No, not at all surprising. Remember years ago when Bimbaugh was doing his hate radio thing, complaining about all the liberal professors at the elite liberal colleges. Someone called in and said ā€œso, all the professors at the elite Wharton School of Finance are Republicans.ā€ Bimbaugh stumbled a bit and then of course attacked the caller.

They should make it a part of their 2016 platform.

Donā€™t laugh, they probably will.

Wait, what?

Sure they do! But they also believe that the natural numbers start at 2ā€¦

At a university level, one took courses or had reading assignments such as ā€œorigins of the Constitutionā€.

There one learned that the founding fathers knew the history of Europe and Henry VIII and went out their way NOT to have an ESTABLISHED religion.

This is, however, so far over the heads of people who are told by their pastors that the ā€œUS government is based on the Bibleā€ or some similar nonsense.

Heaven help us all.

Maybe there should be a CAT Scan or MRI that would show Iā€™d you really love America. No, on second thought, the GOP would never go along with that for obvious reasons

What if you could detect REAL Christianity? Of course, first you would have to define it, but it sure would be fun. Iā€™d love to watch Pat Robertson in the hot seat!

I donā€™t get it! Donā€™t these trained monkeys know that a ā€œnational religionā€ is not supported by our Constitution?! How ignorant, can a human get?
