Hmm…fairly sure they never bothered to check Flynn’s phone or Carter Page, Manafort, or Stone.
Cause the real enemy for them is the media, not Russia.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see Melissa McCarthy show us how it went down on SNL next week.
What a lovely administration to work for.
That’s sure to do wonders for morale and staff loyalty around the good ol’ press office!
Keep up the good work there, Sean!
Folks, lets be very clear about this…we have a CABAL occupying our White House, rather than an “administration”. Only crooks thinks like these people!
I think this is hilarious. What a solution! Rather than start behaving competently, rationally and within standards of good governance…check phones!
Time for some White House Plumbers, right Sean?
Now that we’re pretending to care about the Federal Records Act, how about the tweets Trump has deleted?
Are people starting to realize that Business Genius Donald Trump was a TV character, whose reputation was based solely on him forcing every human ever in contact with him to sign a non-disclosure agreement? And that he was always this big a sham?
“White House press secretary Sean Spicer cracked down on leaks from his own office by telling staffers to hand over their phones for a “phone check” during a meeting which itself was then leaked to the media, according to a Sunday report by Politico.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Once again demonstrating that these guys cannot get the simplest things right.
MAGA my ass.
ok, sean, now you’ve cleared up the phone issue, what about personal conversations, use of other phones, and the internet? got that covered? then the leaks must be coming from you. dog and pony show intimidation.
Rule 1: When you think the problem is “the leaks,” the problem isn’t the leaks.
@greycardinal–Not to mention El Trumpo’s unsecured Android 3 phone. That is just a gigantic leak (and, as a bonus, threat to national security) waiting to happen.
But, by all means, Spicer, check your minion’s phones. Carry on.
This is really simple, Sean. Your boss is a republic-endangering incompetent and traitor who promotes infighting and general misery among his staff. These are huge, inherent and unavoidable motivations for people to leak stuff. So give the fuck up. You can’t prevent it.
Well put. Comrade Chaos expresses seething contempt for the free press and any signs of dissent - while nothing but fawning praise and admiration for the thuggish leader of a foreign adversary, of whom political opponents and critical journalists are imprisoned and/or wind up dead. Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and the rest are rolling in their graves.
In an interesting twist, it was revealed that Politico’s source for the transcript of the highly secret meeting in the White House was RT, previously known as Russia Today.
My God…is this the third grade at the White House primary school?
Looks like Spicer is practicing spy fieldcraft.
Spicer told staffers that the use of messaging apps which are encrypted
or delete messages after they are sent would violate the Federal Records
Act, according to multiple unnamed sources in the room cited in the
report.
So when Trump deletes a tweet from his phone is that also a violation of the FRA.
Just wonderin!
Uh, wow
So… the day will come soon we’ll see the rumored golden showers?
I would assume that might fall under article 2 section 4 of the Constitution… misdemeanors, you see, are mentioned.
