Iâd say at this point Muellerâs team has more info than the FEC has on this matterâŚ
Perhaps Andrew McCabe has time on his hands to help out as a contract investigator. The FEC is a typical paper tiger as a regulator.
Donât know anything about the FEC, but in keeping with this administrationâs âfox in charge of the chicken coopâ approach to destroying our democracy, can I assume it is now headed by an ex board member of the NRA with direct money laundering ties to Russia? Just wonderingâŚ
No confidence here. The FEC is a feckless, do-nothing agency that was politicized long before tRump was (s)elected. Theyâve only gotten worse since then. Hand this one over to Mueller, too. Heâll take care of it along with the other evidence weâve seen from supporters of this maladministration.
if the NRA uses any dues from foreign NRA members to fund political campaigns is that not evidence of funneling foreign money into an election in the same vein as claims of union dues being used improperly for political purposes?
so I guess for the NRA to prove that the NRA is not funneling foreign money into elections, they would welcome a public audit. Nothing to hide right NRA? Then nothing to fear from an audit.
Hasnât Dana Losch already addressed this issue.
Move along⌠nothing to see here
A Russian mob boss and lifetime NRA member, wanted in Spain on a money laundering charge, might be funneling money through the NRA to the Trump Campaign? But, didnât Citizens United make this perfectly okay? I mean, whatâs the problem?
Well Don McGahn the current WH Counsel was appointed FEC Commissioner by GWB in 2008. Also spending time as chief counsel for the NRCC. Just a tidbit
But to your question the FEC is suppose to have six members they now have 4, there are 2 Republicans, 1 Democrat, and 1 independent.
I think the word youâre looking for is fungible.
And hereâs a story about what one of the former NRA board members thinks of this.
I so want to see this terrorist group burned to the ground.
I wonder if this is what set Cleta Mitchell off â bellowing she had not had anything to do with the NRA after 2012. In any case, I would bet that Muellerâs team has been investigating this for months and has the goods on a long list of GOPers. I hope the NRA executives, spokespersons, political toadies, and lawyers all roast in hell â after a fair trial, of course. Feel free to add to the list, I am breaking for lunch.
It appears that there is a connection between Russia and the NRA.
My question is are the Russian citizens able to purchase guns as easily as we are?
If they are not, that means when Trump/Putin take over our guns are gone.
This needs to stay in the headlines for a few more cycles
Democratic congressmen, including Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Ted Lieu (D-CA), have initiated their own fact-finding inquiries into the NRA-Russia ties.
Glad to see that these gents are also on the trail.
Yes it is. There are currently four members and a vacant seat. Two members are Rs, one is a D, and one is âindependent.â Four votes are required for any action. So, Iâm reworking what @mrcomments said (FEC has on this matter) and saying weâre looking at nothing but fecal matter.
If Iâm not mistaken Rep. Lieu hold the former Rep. Waxmanâs seat and I always thought of him as a bulldog, and I hope the spirit lives on.
Why hasnât the current president updated the appointments? Oh, wait, donât tell me.

The Russianâs didnât need a funnel, the NRA was open 24/7/365 to accept Ru$$ian influenceâŚ
Oh dear. They are all vulnerable to replacement. Foxes into the chicken coop time againâŚ
