“Getting the blacks out of Southfield” is going to be a challenge for these white numbskulls.
From the 2010 Census:
“As of the census of 2010, there were 71,739 people, 31,778 households, and 18,178 families residing in the city…The racial makeup of the city was 70.3% African American, 24.9% White, 0.2% Native American, 1.7% Asian, 0.4% from other races, and 2.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.3% of the population.”

This is a microcosm, a fine example, of exactly what the GOP is afraid of.
They’re outnumber substantially in Southfield. They can’t hope to take it back because there aren’t enough of them.
More and more places in the US are beginning to look like Southfield. It’s a tsunami of demographics that is a nightmare to the RWNJs. It is the very thing that Trump and the rest of his ilk bank on to keep the drumbeat of fear pounding in the brain.
Bet no candidates go here.

Hell, whites were a minority 15 years ago in Southfield, which was 54% black to 38% for whites in the 2000 census. Southfield is one of the original inner-ring suburbs immediately adjacent to Detroit, and it’s entirely natural and predictable that many African American families with the financial means would leave Detroit for places like Southfield. The depopulation of Detroit itself, especially over the last decade, has only accelerated that trend.
This flyer is so brainless it makes me wonder if it was specifically designed to incite violence.

Looking at recent off-year (odd years) general elections, they might know what they’re doing. Roughly 10k votes out of about 50k voters. You only need to fire up a couple of thousand voters to turn an election. Voter suppression tactics would also help.
