The caller reportedly identified himself as an army veteran and a Christian in the recording.

“I’m going to kill all of you, but I’m not going to name the people I’m going to kill since I don’t want to get into trouble since the cops are only going to come after me if I name the people I’m going to kill. And I’m gonna kill ALL OF YOU!!”

Typical ignorant Right-Wing Fascist drivel.
The Crusades were created by the Royal Families of Europe to steal the land and property of the participants by sending them abroad and hopefully getting them killed (and as a way to raise money.) They swept up with them all the dregs (and many of the devout poor) of Europe and sent them to the Middle East to inflict their destruction on everybody they encountered, Christian, Muslim, and Jew.
The “Crusaders” killed more Christians than they did Muslims (sack of Constantinople in 1204) and in retribution, the Muslims invaded Europe in an attempt to stop (and punish) the “Christians” for their mis-deeds.
My favorite was the “Children’s Crusade” of 1212 which resulted in selling them all into slavery for profit (this has been challenged by some historians however.)

Why would you want to cut the heads off of all the melon farmers?

Far be it for little old me to give advice to the FBI, but may I suggest that the agents confine their search to very pasty-white citizens with prominent pinheads who are riding in Rascals due to their Jabba-ness and wearing XXXL T-shirts bearing the words “Make America Great Again”. Could save precious time and money!

are the police investigating this as an act of domestic terrorism?

“We’ll start just cutting off the heads of all of you m*******rs,” the recording, which was left on July 30 but not heard by mosque officials until Saturday, continued. “Huh? How would you like that? Maybe we need another Christian crusade, which I think we do.”

Ok, dude needs to stop listening to Superjoint Ritual. That stuff will fray your mind…

“The caller reportedly identified himself as an army veteran and a Christian in the recording.”

Of course, he did. All matter of scum call themselves “Christians”: Klan members, neo-Nazis, white Supremacists, “religious” figures and others who call for the killing of gays and abortion doctors. It is much easier to justify your hate if it is borne from religion.

Definitely someone with a Gadsen flag hanging off the porch.

With a label inside that says Made in China.

But enough about his favorite TRUMP 2016 shirt.
actually I guess that was the joke. Time to withdraw my failed joke comment.

Or they could just cross reference it with assault rifle owners.

Funny you should mention the chopping off of heads.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Do we win by being more like them?

TRUMP: Yes. I’m sorry. You have to do it that way. And I’m not sure everybody agrees with me. I guess a lot of people don’t. We are living in a time that’s as evil as any time that there has ever been. You know, when I was a young man, I studied Medieval times. That’s what they did, they chopped off heads. That’s what we have …

STEPHANOPOULOS: So we’re going to chop off heads …

TRUMP: We’re going to do things beyond waterboarding perhaps, if that happens to come.

and this was why, i kept saying that any Capitol Hill reporter needed to press both McConnell and Cornyn and Ryan over this. They know that he was about this stupid s-- and yet it kept coming down to ‘even though I disagree with his positions…’
