I don’t know if anybody’s actually read that since the Clinton Administration, but it was popular among right-wing hate groups in the past.
Well, before I hand over my house he has to explain how exactly his gun rights have eroded. In recent decades they’ve mostly expanded. We had a brief, mostly unserious flirtation with attempts to limit magazine capacity during the Clinton years but let it expire. (Existing aftermarket high-cap mags were available the whole time afaik.) In most other ways the law says go nuts, carry concealed, carry open, buy what you want. Certain cities and states are trying to curtail the worst excesses—NYC, D.C., California. But in general it’s a golden age of gunnuttery, and we’ve got the bodies to prove it. Since my challenge was for him to offer one example of an actual right we used to have that we don’t anymore, by implication, I hasten to say, an example a rational person would accept, I figure I can continue to bet my house that he can’t do it. Crazy reasons don’t count.
