Discussion: Pence: Trump 'Has The Right To Defend Himself' Against Rep. John Lewis

I like it.

The trouble is, Pence, Don just tweeter vomited again… that is no ā€œdefenseā€; can Don prove that he and his inner circle (and you) didn’t have contact with Putin and Russia over the past year or so? Can Don prove that Russia did not interfere with the election (I don’t think so), can Don prove he is not a douche ? Nope, Don can’t even do that…

Pence: Trump ā€˜Has The Right To Defend Himself’ Against Rep. John Lewis

Sure, he has the right, but does he have the ability?

Insulting and demeaning one’s opponent is not a defense.

Republicans declared election fraud in the campaign. Then they decide not to investigate it? I think not.

Defending ones self is one thing. But that’s not Trump is doing. It’s never what he does when he perceives that he’s been slighted by someone. All Trump does is hurl insults and tries to diminish and demean the alleged offender. Then he ends his tweet with what Trump considers the ultimate blow: so sad!

Nearly 3 million more people recognized that pattern before Election Day and more have recognized it since. Pence’s enabling of Trump puerile behavior. Perhaps Pence thinks his enabling will stand him in good stead when/if Trump resigns, is indicted, etc. But Mr. Pence it doesn’t. It makes you look just as childish and churlish. So sad!
