Notice, though, that he claims to have been “nominated by my party,” not “chosen by HO.” Gives him wiggle room - after he loses, he can claim that he was serving the party, not an active running mate of HO.

I’m not a theologian and I don’t quite get how the Christian concept of redemption means you show your forgiveness toward embezzling bank tellers by making them president of the bank. And I’m with @spencersmom—when the tape emerges of Trump using the n-word on the Apprentice set, and it will, Pence’ll say “redemption be damned, I’m up outta here” and that’ll be that. Well, in keeping with HO’s ADD, I think the “next shoe” is going to be about something other than disrespecting women. I’ll put my money on video of Trump using an ethnic slur, and doing so just as casually as he bragged about sexually assaulting women.
