Just as soon as the next vid drops, Pence will remove himself from the ticket. That he is now claiming that the rumors - and there were plenty of them - are false just means that he and his team did a deep risk/benefit analysis and they’re treading water waiting for the next shoe to drop.

His political career was over before being picked as Trump’s VP. As governor of bright red Indiana, he had a favorable/unfavorable of 40/42. It looked very possible he could be a one-term governor.
Now his career is definitely over though, since he had to withdraw from his re-election campaign to run for VP. The Indiana gubernatorial race is currently ranked as a toss-up, so he may lose the White House, and have handed the Indiana governor’s mansion to a Democrat. Two-fer!
