If they choose to, the Dems on the committee can bring the proceedings to a virtual halt using various Parliamentary maneuvers: privileged motions, points of order, points of personal privilege. etc.

Republicans could have been done with the Committee months ago. They are stalling. Voters are wise to them now. It is time to finish up the committee or stop it and move on. Americans expect better from their house of representatives.

Nancy, I’m surprised at you for being 3 yrs too late. most of us have known since the beginning of the committee what the function of it was. Your democrat members should have been telling you all along what was going on. Are you really that out of touch? Did you not see this “investigation” for what it has been these past 3 years? This only occurred to you NOW???

Time to finish this once and for all. Insist NOW that Gowdy release ALL Committee info just as he insists that State release all of Hillary’s emails. If it’s good enough for Hillary then it’s good enough for these assholes.

McCarthy is in deep doo doo. If the Benghazi committee truly was primarily for political purposes, he has just destroyed any benefit they gained from it. If it wasn’t, he has just insulted…well, everybody, including members of the committee

I would argue that it would be a disservice to the 4 Americans who died in Benghazi for the democrats to continue to serve on a committee whose sole purpose is to score political points. These victims are being used as pawns and the democrats should not be a part of this farce.

I think he is saying she should pull the Democrats from the committee, but I think she is right to hold off for now. The committee hearings will give Democrats a platform to beat the GOP over the head and this time the press will pay attention.

McCarthy will never be Speaker. Politicians are by definition liars and cheats. When one speaks truth they can kiss their career bye bye. Probably the best definition of "politician’ was in the movie “The Hunt ofr Red October”:
To be a successful pol and gain power and influence, which is the whole object for these folks, you gotta lie and subscribe to whatever nonreality your party subscribes to. These people hang around DC to gain power and influence. It is NOT to necessarily do good stuff for the country or their constituents. That only happens in order to get elected.
