I know they know what’s going on. It’s just that I get frustrated she waits to beat the crap outta these jerks. Why should she wait for McCarthy to self immolate to say what she did? Perhaps she’s got the patience of Job. I don’t. I know Nancy is smart and aware. But to say what she did and how it came out sounds like she’s unaware. At least to me it did. Considering all the mountains of information the committee has they should have been able to come to a conclusion long ago that there’s nothing there… unless there was politics agoin’ on. I get frustrated when democrats insist on playing nice. Republicans can be counted on to act like asshats so… that’s how they should be treated.
Prove it! She might have to back up that threat with a sternly worded letter.
But there is a time for everything. If the Dems refused to cooperate early on, the Republicans would have accused them of stonewalling and covering for Hillary – and the media would be along for the ride.
This gives them the high ground, and if there is a showdown closer to the 2016 election season, all the better.

You gotta have someone there to keep an eye on these pieces of shit. Except that Chris Hayes had some Dem on last night that said the Reps were interviewing witnesses w/o even telling the Dems about it.

Yes and it was over a year into the investigations before they introduced one paper in evidence. In pther words, dragging it out as long as possible for purely political reasons

Hillary’s SuperPAC should buy ad time and run the tape in every contested state during the general (assuming she etc. etc.). They at least ought to do it in the NoVA area 20 times a day during the week before, the days of, and the week after she testifies.
Good idea. That would clear the field for the GOP’ers to railroad Clinton and Obama. They could make of it what they wanted…unimpeded.

Every Democrat on the committee should speak up that they demand an investigation of the committee and demand their internal emails of GOP members every they get to speak. Before, in the middle, and at the close of every witness they get to question. Make it a mantra. Demand to see the chairman’s emails.

Why shut it down? Every meeting from here on out will be seen through the lens the major Democrats in this farce have just stated. This is opportunity, not defeat. Unless, that is, you believe there is a there.

I agree… if you watched the earlier meetings of the committee, the Democrats showed up the Rep. for being slanted and partisan, Gowdy’s efforts non-withstanding. And HIllary’s appearance will be a great opportunity for her to shine. Based on McCarthy’s admission, FOIA will be made for emails between the Rep. members… … if the committee is dissolved, we’ll never see them. As demonstrated from the Planned Parenthood hearing, Rep.'s don’t do well in these hearings… One thing Pelosi could do, is to cancel the subpoenas issued by the Rep… that way, the non appearing witnesses would never be prosecuted; the only witnesses who showed up would be totally partisan, highlighting the Kangaroo quality of the hearing.
