I think it’s perfect, actually. They are an immediate reminder of the last time we saw them, when Trump said he owns the shutdown. That was an electrifying moment and just seeing them show up to immediately gainsay him now reminds one of that.
But that’s exactly what they’re doing.
A big lie from the right, which a lot of them believe, is that Democrats are for open borders, having had that hammered into them by Fox News, POTUS, etc.
You and I may think that’s obvious but it was important that they be really clear about that.
